Welp, Fuji Rock snagged the Cure, Thom Yorke, and King Gizz. Looks like I'm going overseas this summer. Good luck with Japan's brutal summer

I had no idea all the conversations were happening in the General Board. I kinda just assumed everyone would continue posting in the shitpost thread xD
Also threw my vote for YES in the poll above!

It's super awesome that Pankcakes got married on the last Sasquatch...how's that for fucking memories?
Also I'm posting on both threads because both are important.

I’m just more curious how you knew what I looked like. Have you found images on this board from past years? Depending on how long you lurk this is the most likely answer. Even in 2013 I had a couple people run up to me unprompted and ask if I was Nick from the boards. A lot of people (used to?) read this thing, it’s weird. The only glimpses I've seen of you is that stream of you on the bus + screaming about bread at the Safeway near the Neptune

Jlin posted a pic of her Primavera crowd on insta, but not the 40 people & I who showed up to her set at Sasquatch. No mention of it at all, and I can’t really blame her. Absolutely the most slept on set of the weekend. My wife was running back and forth between Bigfoot and Chupacabra to checkout both Jlin and Shakey Graves (I stayed around for Shakey Graves). Despite it drawing a pretty huge crowd, I was pretty let down by his show. I really don't think the band that he brought with his new tour is really helping.

Anyone camping in D9 get to experience the big party bus? Check out these reviews people left. Luckily I was far enough away so it was faint but other people didn’t get off so easily. m.facebook.com/LyonPrideMusic09I was in premier (teehee) but I’m getting pissed off just reading these comments. What the fuck. This is the last thing Sasquatch needs right now and the owner isn’t even apologizing - he’s telling everyone to stop whining Fuck yeah premiere! (I'm never going back to D9) Also holy shit this i.imgur.com/ozh5EV2.png

Usually "Thank you" is all they post. 2016 was the only time I remember them posting the "See you next year" and I believe that was just in response to the cancellation rumor that popped up on Sunday of that year. We had this same discussion last year and it still came back. After the huge success that this year was, there is no possible way they're not doing it again next year. I've heard a couple confirmations of Sasquatch not going away anytime soon from credible sources... and Snacks seemed pretty happy with this year. Best goddamn news. This Sasquatch really captured that magic that I feel like I lost the couple years.

Did anyone else get in on that PUP pit? Probably the biggest and most enthusiastic pit I’ve ever seen at Sasquatch. I got slammed against the guardrail one time but the rest of time was super fucking fun. I also lost my voice since I knew pretty much every song they played.

1. Bon Iver 2. PUP 3. David Byrne 4. Japanese Breakfast 5. Modest Mouse 6. Julien Baker 7. Vince Staples 8. Wolf Parade 9. Charly Bliss 10. TV on the Radio I admittedly wished I listened to the undercard a bit more. There was a lot of shows where I wish I could be singing along. Also RIP on missing The National

Ya on a personal experience level this is probably the happiest festival I ever had, but I think 2010 is my favorite Sasquatch and festival ever and this one is 2nd by a country mile. Other than missing some of the daytime sets because hot, old, and hungover I have no regrets about who or what I did or saw. This is the first time I felt the hot, old and hungover effect. On Monday I was desperately hiding under our canopy in our campsite til a must-see band was playing.

Also Gold camping saved my actual life at least 3 times per day and there’s no going back. I did premiere and the quality of life improvement was immense. I'm going to splurge on Gold next year

What a great weekend. I feel so good about the future of our festival right now. After the last couple years, it feels so good to be able to leave without having to worry about whether or not they will be doing it again next year. Sasquatch is back, baby. And it's not going anywhere any time soon. It was definitely one of my faves. I was pretty confident when I saw Pea during Modest Mouse that it was my favorite ever but I was pretty sun-ed out on Sunday and the bands I was interested in were a bit sparse so we ended up leaving early. But holy shit Bon Iver and Modest Mouse both made me very happy. I'm officially an old man because I doubt I'll ever go back to D9 camping after enjoying the perks of Premiere. PS. It was very nice to see you briefly emptyfox, weenie and kymessjr (I doubt she's on here anymore )
