but m.i.a. into pavement wouldn't work. i love them both too. belle & sebastian would be stellar too.
is broken social scene unproven as a headliner?
gorillaz isn't really unproven but they would obviously fit the spot too

hot chip and m.i.a. would also be possible as unproven headliners but i don't see pavement into either of them. franz or arctic would be much more likely.

the strokes, arcade fire, broken social scene, arctic monkeys, thom yorke, massive attack..
honestly the only one that makes sense is arctic monkeys as unproven

Wow. I really thought pavement would be headlining. And phoenix and soundgarden are great possibilities but they were never really materialized. Now if this is at all true we have questions.
not us? that would be interesting. if their unproven headliners it's not reunion station this year.

the thom yorke is just because they've always wanted to have radiohead play and since he was playing at coachella it's not unreasonable.
haha maybe thom yorke and peter gabriel can play together since they are making covers

my guess is still: Dead Weather/Broken Social Scene into Soundgarden Chromeo/Phoenix into LCD Soundsystem/Thom Yorke MGMT/National into Pavement.

well the roo rumors (or bonnarumors if you like) were off this year. people like neil young, roger waters, broken social scene, and mew were all mentioned and not in the initial lineup and then the lack of headliners made everyone extra upset

I hear that the headliners won't be that big, so people all riled up for pearl jam and beastie boys will probably be disappointed. I was TOLD by an employee of Live Nation that it's the most solid line-up Sasquatch has probably ever had and may match Coachella in that aspect. But Sasquatch doesn't ever really have huge headliners. It happens every now and then, but most of the time our headliners are sub headliners elsewhere. that is stellar news. i believe it.

Cos just tweeted: Just got the Sasquatch! 2010 lineup. Will post it when we're allowed, later this evening. Boy, is it good! Then they tweeted, Correction: Really good. Sounds awesome I just posted this on confirmations thread , but here we can speculate more, do you think that means they got soundgarden to headline the monday night after, pavement, to have 3 bonfide headliners. I wonder who else got the line-up. The Stranger? Maybe the Seattle Times? Anyone know how to hack into a newspaper website? You gotta figure there is an article with the full line-up waiting to get posted, that is just sitting there in cyberspace. I wonder when during the announcement party they are actually going to release the line-up. My guess would be at the end, after the bands play. So it wont be until 10 or 11 til we get the line-up. typically they announce that the bands playing the party will be at the festival (or each band will say during their set). and in between sets they'll announce like 5 or 6 bands (like two subs and undercards) and then at the end they'll announce the headliners and the rest of the lineup. i'm guessing that, using our friendly insider, we'll know maybe a dozen bands before 11 or 1130

But it is CoS we are talking about here. after seeing their reputation plunge even further after the 'roo fiasco, I can't imagine them following through. What is the point of releasing the lineup on the night that the lineup is being officially released anyways? because they got it from inside and probably had to assure that they'd wait until after the launch party. and lots of people messed up the roo situation. without cos you'd have a lot less to speculate about because most of the info is just crossing over. if you don't wanna bank on their sources then you can try to compile tips for every festival.

"For more information on The Gorge and the Gorge Campground go to: Live Nation.
This 3 day event will go off sale February 15, 2010 at 11:59pm."
Are we sure this is midnight pacific time? All of the other times I've purchased tickets newly released it was at noon EST.
