1. NIN - This is a band going out on top , Trent really gave it his all for this one 2. KoL- Their nearly 2 hour set was spot on 3. Gogol Bordello- So glad I left Blitzen Trapper( not that they were bad or anything) , GB was just so much fun 4. Girl Talk - Dope 5. Explosions in the Sky - Girl Talk and EitS was an awesome way to close out the festival ( I danced a few songs at Chromeo but was so burnt out I went back to camp to sleep )
Honorable Mentions - The Avett Brothers, Devotchka ,The YYYs ,Fleet Foxes( untouchable in a smaller venue) I spent most of the weekend in the lower bowl at the Main Stage

Interstateeight, If I meet you at Sasquatch, I sincerely hope you are wearing super tight jeans, coke-bottle black rimmed glasses and some sort of fedora. And a beard, because if you don't have a beard, well then I just don't think I could consider you authentic enough for this. Do not call people dressed like this "emo kids " I made that mistake last year and got quite the tongue lashing . I was unfamiliar with what a "hipster" is, in my defense

You can sleep in my tent ... as long as your friend is a girl ....hahaa j/k ( not really though) . My advice would be just to come down anyways . You'll probably get a camping spot ,or even if you don't you might find someone nice to give you a place to stay , or you could sleep in your car somewhere .

I think Deadmau5 should be on that list as well. I haven't been into house music since the late 90's early 2000's , but this guy has some really awesome tracks . i feel cool using the word tracks instead of songs

yay! i second the 'anyone who deosn't like fleet foxes' and... totally Journey... maybe some Sublime and how about some Led Zep? The only suitable replacement for Journeys Greatest Hits is Def Leppard - Hysteria 2 things I forgot : Advil Liquigels - I don't know if they have anything better in the US , but these are the only things that get rid of my hangover headache in the morning Wet ones- Cause the line for the showers is really long

I bought those Reef Flask Sandals last year . They were great until I got caught in the mosh pit at the Pemberton festival . Needless to say , they were never seen or heard from again.

Is it different in Canada? Yes. We have free health care.

Its looking real good. The forecast on Intellicast.com, which I think is generally more accurate than weather.com shows: Friday - High 84, Low 51 Sunny Sat - High 87, Low 52 Sunny Sun - High 88, Low 52 Sunny Mon - High 89, Low 53 Sunny Thats about as good as it can be. Hopefully, this will hold form. For those of us in Canada, take those temperatures ,minus 32 and divide by 1.8 = Hot enough to melt my igloo .

It seems that at every festival there are a few bands (usually lower tier ) that exceed yours/peoples expectations. For me last year it was Cold War Kids and Jamie Lidell , this year, I have a few hunches
Santigold - Shes got a few really good songs and if she comes out with lots of energy.. could be a good show ( this years MIA?)
The Walkmen- Heard that they're really good live
So if you know something everybody else doesn't ,or have a good feeling about any of the bands ,feel free to add your thoughts and opinions.....

I know this thread has been posted before , but this board is dead and if you're like me , you've changed your mind on what bands you really want to see.
1. Fleet Foxes 2. Kings of Leon ( They may be Nickelback for people who loathe Nickelback ,but I still like em ) 3. Gogol Bordello ( I'm expecting them to be absolutely insane live , hopefully they are cause I'm skipping Blitzen Trapper for them ) 4. The Yeah Yeah Yeahs ( Does anyone know if Karen O has a boyfriend , cause I think I have a shot ) 5. Deadmau5 ( I'm gonna get my rave on like it was 1999)
Feel free to ridicule or criticize my choices , at least there will be some sort of discussion here.

Lots of fresh fruit ( vitamins kiddies ) Beef Jerky ( for protein plus its awesome) Cards , Football , Frisbee ( for that akward time when you're starting to get a good buzz but aren't ready to hit the venue)
Journeys Greatest Hits ( need I say more) Single girls ( with low standards preferably)
Things to leave at home: Your inhibitions Crap music ( if I hear Lady Gaga at 3am I'll lose it ) That guy who says "I listened to Kings of Leon before they got huge" ( for the record I did listen to KoL before they got huge) Anyone who doesn't like Fleet Foxes

With the cancellation of Pemberton , I expect you will see a lot of Canadians this year .Especially on the Friday night when most of us will be heading down.
Now attention all Canadian hockey fans ( one in the same really) . We need to figure a way out to watch the Canucks games while we're at Sasquatch . They WILL be in the conference finals playing Detroit/Anaheim that weekend . I figure the Kings of Leon tour bus probably has satellite and big screens so we just need to get on it somehow ...................eh .

When the lineup was first announced I wasn't all that impressed, so I thought I would skip this year. However , I 've changed my mind and I'm excited to be going again ( although ,not as much as last year)
