Woo! I had a feeling it'd be up on the App store before the website.

He's not as bad as you guys make him sound. His lyrics are corny but his voice and the sound make up for it. I don't really listen to him too often, maybe once every few months, if that. But I did see him in concert last year and I really enjoyed it.

Awesome man. Thanks for the tips. I wasn't aware of the 21 wrist band Yeah, I was super subtle about it last year and was kicked out, so as pathetic as this might sound, I'd say get all your drinking done before heading into the festival, though it'll be one fucking hard day in the sun if you try that. You were kicked out of the festival for the day? Now I'm wondering if I should sneak alcohol in.

Yeah I'll probably end up going to see them, I noticed their no longer conflicting with Japandroids on the new prelim. schedule, s I have no reason to miss it. Oh cool! I had the same issue.

So far I've checked out My Morning Jacket, LCD Soundsystem, Passion Pit, Band of Horses and Massive Attack. I really enjoy listening to them all... except for Massive Attack. The sound just doesn't do it for me. I find it so plain.
Next I think I'll download some Ween. I've checked out their MySpace and I got kind of weirded out by some of the music. Although, it seems like they have a strong following so I figure I should at least download one of their popular albums.

I think the huge arguement over Ween has made me extremely excited to see them. (Before I had no opinion. I know nothing about them.) Ween is cool. Would consider them more subheadliners though. I was introduced to them in high school through the show "South Park" where ween was singing The Rainbow ("so many colors in the homo rainbow"). Haha, the South Park CD with that song on it was one of the first Cd's I've ever owned. Hopefully they play it.

Hmm, I could live with not seeing Deadmau5 and the National. Deadmau5 is actually playing a free show this Friday and I've seen the National before.

Not cool! I really want to see each of the top 5 bands on Saturday. What're the chances of them playing at the same time?

Probably about $250 I just need to know if the cheap tickets will still be available on 2/16..or if they will be up to normal price on the day of line up announcement. Does anyone know? I'm wondering this myself. Do the prices go up as soon as they announce the bands? Or is it the day after?

That's funny you say that about Arcade Fire. I felt the same way. To me Funeral was a really good album, but, it wasn't until I saw them live that I connected with the music. It was almost like you had too see them life to understand the music. Music has always been important to me, you can take a 4 or 5 minute song and it can have a profound effect on your life, that why i don't like to criticize peoples taste in Music, because any song could mean something profound to any one. I got into Arcade Fire one night when there was nothing else on TV and a rerun of their appearance on Austin City Limits came on. They put on such a great show. It seemed like every song they played I really enjoyed. I was very surprised. Also, Green Day is one of the worst bands in the world. I don't know how anyone can listen to that garbage.

I didn't want to go through a 9 page thread to find the answer to none or all of my questions. I did however do a search for what I was asking but I got some strange results. It would be nice if there was some sort of a FAQ or something along those lines. This forum isn't busy so I figured I would just make another thread. Edit: Forgot to mention: Thanks for the reply jobosrock.

Hey, I was just wondering what items I can and cannot bring into the festival grounds? I'll just make a list to make it easier.
-Food: Sandwiches, fruit, etc -A refillable water container -Blanket -Lawn Chair -Cameras (Do they mind you taking pictures and filming?) -Medication: Like Aspirin and Pepto. Just in case I start feeling like shit mid day I don't want to leave and not be able to get back in.
Also, a camping question. I have a really big tent. Do they allow big tents?
Thanks!
