damn damn damn. Second place is first looser. Do people actually spell 'Loser' in the form above? I see it so often spelled as such that I am beginning to believe that I am the one spelling it wrong. Maybe I should just stay away from message boards for awhile.

Nah, dood, you right. I think people get confused since they're used to the double oo's making the ooo sound required in loser.
However whenever I read looser I think of s having the "hard s" sound instead of the z sound in loser.
Fuck I analyzed that more than necessary.

I couldn't tell if Brad was joking or what. That is not how you spell 'loser'.

I think we're overlooking the bigger issue here.

I think owen deserves a prize, just for the sheer audacity of showing his message board lineup pool guesses to the founder of the festival.

I think next year Adam might give away a ticket to the winner. He really wants to foster this audience.

I think next year Adam might give away a ticket to the winner. He really wants to foster this audience. The hyper-involved board crowd? One thing I like about Coachella is that they really seem to listen to the board for certain suggestions. Not for major stuff, but for instance they booked DJ Lance Rock and Yo Gabba Gabba a couple years ago after the board had a big campaign for it, and Orbital last year was similar, and Aquabats I believe. Tell AZ that's a good idea. Maybe incorporating the board into the website would get more traffic, too - but I don't know how everyone feels about that so I won't say too much.

It would be great if the voice of the few here had any impact. I'm not sure how I feel about getting this board more traffic though. I like our little elitist community. LOL

Also can you tell him to get a handful of misting tents and scatter them around the venue? very refreshing.

I started the educated suggestions thread to send Adam some suggestions for this year. We got a few of the suggestions I sent him.
This is what I suggested: The residents-good live show and talked about hitting north west in spring
Chromeo - New album coming out next month and need to do an artist set after that less-than stellar DJ set in 2009.
Sleigh Bells - Sasquatch loves the "it" bands and seemed to miss the ball on them this year. I'm almost certain they will be making an appearance. New album not to long ago
Yeasayer - I was surprised to not see them on the bill also this year. My gut tells me we will see them holding down a slot similar to Passion Pit's this year on the main stage.
Fleet Foxes - Pretty sure they will have a new album next year, and being the Sasquatch darlings that they are I'm betting they will be back.
Bassnectar - After his massive success at Coachella this year I'm thinking Zacks will want to bring some dubstep insanity.
Of Montreal - New album coming out next month. Had a huge crowd last year, I can see them coming back and doing it again.
S. Carey - Drummer for Bon Iver who has a new album out. Perfect Yeti Stage artist.
Cut Copy - Many people have asked for them over the years and I think it's just time that they finally get brought up here. I wouldn't be surprised if they have a new album out soon as well.
Deer Tick - They've been gaining ground lately, and even though I'm not a fan of their new album I could see them making up part of the "folk" niche of the lineup.
Phoenix - Not into them really but there is no denying how hot they are right now. Another band that I was surprised not to see on this year's bill.
Brandon Flowers - His debut album comes out next month. I'm sure he'll be stopping by almost every festival next year.
Chemical Brothers - I'll admit, this is definitely a "wishlist" addition for me. But with a new album that just came out I could see them OWNING one of the late night sets.
Black mountain-new album out mid September
jason Isbell and The 400 Unit (they will for sure tour next year and didn't even touch the PNW last one)
Chk Chk Chk - New album just out, no PNW dates (though it's still early) and if you never seen them live, they fucking kill!
Panda Bear album this fall.
Mice Parade-new album this fall.
Philistines Jr.-nnew album and tour in 2011
Surfer Blood-played announcement show for 2010
Local natives-killed it last year rising in popularity
Skybox-new album in January and they fit the sasquatch mold really well and could be pretty popular in the near future
The walkmen-new album

If the Residents were on the lineup, it would of made it 10x better

It was always wishful thinking, but it would have been SO awesome/hilarious/bizarre to have the fucking Residents at Sasquatch. I would kill to see the reaction of thousands of wasted hipsters to the Residents.
