Just for a laugh here is the strangers guess at the lineup last year: Pavement, Soundgarden, Flaming Lips, Them Crooked Vultures, Faith No More, MGMT, The Black Keys, Band of Horses, Jamie Liddel, Phoenix, Chromeo, The Dead Weather, LCD Soundsystem, Peter, Bjorn and John, Vampire Weekend, The National, She and Him, Broken Bells, Japandroids, Nada Surf, The Thermals, Local Natives, Girls, Edward Sharpe & the Magnetic Zeros, The XX, The Temper Trap, Neon Indian, Vetiver, Wale, Morning Teleportation, Miike Snow, Why?, Cymbals Eat Guitars, Owen Pallet, Laura Veirs, Fresh Espresso, As Tall As Lions, Macklemore, Portugal. the Man, Frightened Rabbit, Bassnectar, Mew, Dirty Projectors, The Moondoggies and a bunch of bands I have not heard of yet... Cbat is not going to like me tomorrow. I guess I get to tear apart the same post twice in one day, but the Stranger's guess quoted above was actually a cut and paste job from Dustin's lineup guess on the Sasquatch Blog. Even if in hindsight it wasn't a very good guess, it still belongs to Dustin. no worries we're cool. I didn't want to call out the blog but yeah Dustin posted two posts later saying it was his list. Regardless, the stranger published it as a guess which I thought was fairly funny.

The Stranger straight up lifted someone else's lineup guess and called it their own??

So this obviously means more live shows, which gives way more credibility to a possible Sasquatch appearance, right? But does it also mean more studio work? Ooooohhhh

Alright friend saw the lineup early again this year. Again won't tell me everything, but he has some sad news. The lineup he saw has no Arcade Fire.
He'll only do hints again. He didn't see a ranked list, but he said he could pretty easily guess which are the headliners. All three headliners, he says, are bands that have been at Sasquatch before. Two of them were there in 2008. Two were there in 2005.
So there you go.

that's what i was thinking, except for wilco. but that sounds pretty bland. i love those bands--particularly the pixies. i feel like that would be less than a surprise for the 10-year anniversary. also, why would modest mouse be headliner material after having done nothing since the last time they played at sasquatch as non-headliners? The pixies haven't done anything new either, but they still rock. the lips would make sense...

Thanks, emstack, for the most worthless post in the history of the board. I'm making you a trophy. Are you kidding me? ?? It's all there, READ IT AGAIN. Even Switch got it straight away! The sources were obviously credible, the post was way too original to ever be made up, and it's not like this guy only has 8 posts, he has 9! Switch, bless your heart, those are some SOLID guesses.
