I know this has already been mention in a previous post (well only that APC are playing Edge Fest) but A Perfect Circle have just announced 2 more festival dates, one of which is May 22 at Rock on the Range. I'm thinking the possibility of them being a headliner is fairly decent. I actually posted this exact thing yesterday. lol I don't see them headlining though... more like a sub or sub sub...

Taken from Superfiction over at the Coachella board who works for The End and is a reliable source of info over there and put here because it's gotta go somewhere: "i just saw the lineup neener neener neener. its good. like really solid. not as good as last year IMO. but there are some nice surprises. no reunions or anything. but some fun stuff i didnt expect" Makes me feel pretty comfortable, but pretty much eliminates the possibility of any surprising big name headliner. Was superfiction the person who posted on the Coachella board last year that he saw the lineup, or his boss did, and it sucked, but then when everyone like it, he retracted by saying he saw a different lineup? I'm not calling him out at all, just wondering. I know this happened last year, I just don't know if it was superfiction. If accurate, this would rule out DFA1979 by the way.

OT, but are you on the Muse boards? ;D I feel like I know you, hahaha. Whatttt... lol Why hello there! I didn't think I'd see anyone from the Muse boards on here! And HG.. I'm just blind. I thought the Salamander guy was invisible for a bit, but then I found him. I'm drunk. Oh yeah, I'm pretty well known over there... 13 gigs in one year and all. And I even got a pretty undertitle this year. ;D I know some people who went to your gigs. I just stuck to the East Coast mainly and Wembley, etc. But Seattle was so lucky to get a proshot, not fair (though now I can find myself in the Wembley vid, sweet).

I remember there was a guy on the Coachella board last year who worked at some radio station said on the lineup he saw Pavement were the biggest name, and adamantly denied MA even after it was played on the Sasquatch website playlist.

Here is part of his discussion from last year. People are reading way too much into his post this year based on what transpired last year. See for yourselves. superfiction 02-03-2010, 10:21 AM i just found out some of the "big" names of the lineup. cant say yet cuz were the only station who has the info but i will say it didnt excite me. oh and 2 higher up (but not headliners) coachella bands will be there besides pavement. superfiction 02-03-2010, 11:04 AM I'm intrigued. Any idea when you can release the info or when the official announcement comes? i forgot to ask i'll find out tomorrow when the lineup is out and try and find the list if its laying around. again like i said i wasnt impressed. there were literally no big names mentioned. like the biggest band of the weekend will be pavement according to what i was told. but again. i didnt see a list. this is second hand info. there could be stuff i dont know about and no idea about the national. superfiction 02-15-2010, 07:53 PM i dont care for mmj. i dont think they got massive attack but i dunno. no one should take this to the sasquatch board....if we could keep the mmj thing here....id appreciate it superfiction 02-15-2010, 09:24 PM that sasquatch board is hilarious. everyone reading waaay too much into things theyve heard on The End. ridiculous superfiction 02-15-2010, 11:08 PM my boss is officially an idiot for not telling me any of these killer names superfiction 02-15-2010, 11:19 PM what names did they rattle off that did not get you excited..? lcd mmj mgmt ok go minus the bear tegan and sarah is what ive known for a while and she said "these are the big bands playing" this is honestly the best lineup theyve had in years. fucking WEEN uperfiction 02-16-2010, 08:34 AM DJ Bryce in da house!! You guys better start playing Angel or something.. haha if it were up to me.... also on that note i talked to my boss and she was saying the lineup we were sent a few weeks ago didnt have Massive attack on it. which begs the question, were they a last minute get? Is Ween really a headliner? I still can't wrap my head around that. I really don't have a problem with it but it's just odd to me. I saw Ween in 1994 at Metro in Chicago on the Chocolate and Cheese tour and it was fucking unforgettable and so much fun. However, I have not listened to or seen Ween since 1994. I'll be downloading some tonight. Pure Guava is a classic album and something I can still listen to today. ween are not a headliner. they will probably play before mmj id imagine. or headline the wookie stage i guess thats possible but they feel mainstage to me. coachella.com/forum/archive/index.php/t-33683-p-3.html

Holy shit. Points for research, but next time put the link at the top of your post, because that was nigh fucking unreadable without the proper quotations delineated.

Oh I agree it is unreadable. You should have read that whole thread. That whole Coachella board is very messy. But I wanted to make a point while being accurate.

I think he means the way you posted it was unreadable. But props for the effort.

In the spirit of the actual topic I noticed that Junip is touring quite heavily in Europe early spring and then plays a festival in Mexico march 12th and then nothing til a festival in July. Possible north american tour in late spring maybe putting them in the area for sasquatch. I might be reaching. Also noticed surfer blood on tour but not dates in may and no Pacific coast dates listed yet.

Yeah that's about right. I really remember there was this one guy (was it here maybe?) who kept on insisting Massive Attack were absolutely not playing. Maybe he deleted his posts out out embarrassment, i dunno. That guy superfiction seems legit enough though. But as geno said, hopefully he just doesn't give a shit about Radiohead.

So this superfiction guy said he saw the lineup last year, but with the actual lineup came out, it had better names than he thought they were going to have.
This year he said he saw the lineup and there are no big headliners.
He is also being very Vague, it's almost like he can retract any statement he makes, when the lineup comes out.
So............ It must be true. He knows something.
