OMG down the rabbit hole I go... Iknw, rite? You can't say I didn't warn you. Its so much fun! And as for quinoa, I love it. Stamps is right. The Whole Foods will let you buy it in bulk, which is dangerous. I'll be sure to send any fun recipe I see your way so you can make some fun things. I'm still getting the timing down for the boiling of it. sometimes I'll overcook it and it'll get realllllly mushy, which ruins my whole day. Other times, I can't seem to get it to soften up, so I'll work on becoming a better quinoa steamer one of these days. And, I also am a big quinoa stir fry fan. I found a great recipe on epicurious a few months ago and am in love. I pour cock sauce* all over it and it completes me. *Before you start with the dirty jokes, I'm referring to rooster sauce, also known as sriracha, not literally penises. I know SOMEONE would make a dirty joke.

I'm not on yet, but I checked it out! It just sounded like I might pour a bit more time that I had yesterday into it! We'll see how today goes.

I eat a shit load of quinoa! I just use it instead of rice in stir fries and stuff. I also made some bomb curry stuffed peppers with quinoa. Dang, that sounds rad. Care to share your recipe?

I just made it up, but I basically sauteeed onions and garlic, added red bell peppers, apples, cinnamon, yellow curry powder (like Massaman curry style powder) and salt and pepper. Then I mix that with equal parts quinoa, stuff it in a pepper and bake for 30 minutes or so.
And I just cook my quinoa in a rice cooker the same way I'd do rice. And I buy the red quinoa in bulk from Whole Foods (in Helena my organic grocery store had black quinoa in bulk and it was really cheap, but now I use the expensive red stuff from Whole Foods). It's a super food, stuffed with protein and anti-oxidants.

I don't have a rice cooker but I have FINALLY figured out how to cook a nice pot of rice so quinoa should be my next goal I think.

That sounds tasty. I tend to like my stir fries with no meat. I do like tofu in them.

Totally behind the times as usual. I have been stupid busy. Taking 21 credits, working 5 days a week, trying to have some form of fun/free time. I don't really have time for anything, including romancing. Its sad but fun.
I should have just agreed with my professor when she told me "if you don't have a job, don't start looking. If you don't have a significant other, don't get one. you will not have a social life this quarter." Ehhhhh.

Sociology. AKA a career as a secretary not using my degree. Soc majors represent! It's a ticket straight (in the most roundabout way) to grad school for me

Sociology should be taught in school from the get go all the way until you graduate high school.
