Got my hair did!! I used to dread getting my hair done because I am so socially awkward with hairdressers and I suck so bad at the chitchat. Now one of my best friends is a hairdresser so I just go over to her house and we drink wine and shoot the shit. It's so much fun! (Blurry as shit) Before:  After:  |

Great haircut! I love the blonde on you, it looks very fresh. I know what you mean about the chitchat. I love getting my haircut, and especially washed, 'cause I find it a very meditative process. But I hate the expectation that I'm supposed to make small talk for an hour or so when all want to do is sit still and have them do their thing. And the conversation can be so awkward since you only see each other ever few months and often I can't really hear my stylist over all the hair dryers and salon noise and I'm partially deaf anyway. I had a great stylist for a while that seemed to understand all this but then he went and got married and his wife made him give up hairdressing to be an accountant. And it's been over 10 years now and I still haven't found anyone I like as much as him  |

That sucks about your hairdresser kymess! Stupid accounting. The other hairdresser that I liked would just stick a stack of US magazines in front of me and go to work. Best.

Love the hair cut! I want to get mine done before but my hair is finally curling nice when I let it air dry and my bangs are finally long enough to braid back!

As far as hairdresser chit-chat, my hair takes 5 hours every time. I can talk, trust me, but even I peter out after hour 3 and they don't mind. I think sometimes they don't want to talk and just focus. Imagine all the people you have blabbing in your ear about inane bullshit as a hairdresser.
I don't think I'm going to get my hair done before 'Squatch. I really should get my roots touched up but I'm poor so I'm banking on the ombre trend still being cool
