I think the hardest part is that I have to wake up earlier to do it. It involves being out of bed 3 hours before I 'have' to, to do something I don't 'have' to do. I'm feeling pretty motivated right now, but we'll see how that goes. I hate waking up early. Try having an 8-5 desk job Kidding. I HATE waking up early, too. Unfortunately, sleeping in "late" these days is getting up at 9 o'clock because my body is so used to getting up at 6am. But I know what you mean--if I had the motivation, I'd totally wake up at 5 to work out before work if I could, but I can barely rouse myself outta bed at 6! Anywho--the pics are fantastic! That is so exciting for you. And don't feel bad about turning it into a "souly's weight loss thread"--we're totally here to support you. And at this rate, looks like if you don't get to your Sasquatch goal, you'll be pretty darned close!! On another note, I've always looked at Roxy's brand as pretty juvenile, but as I was doing research for work (I was on their page looking up snowboarding related content for my company's website) and found some incredibly adorable sundresses. I kinda want all of them. In all colors. www.roxy.com/family/index.jsp?fbc=1&f=Taxonomy%2FROXY%2F2818097&categoryId=2818097&fbn=Taxonomy|Dresses&view=allThere is some really cute stuff. And its pretty reasonably priced! Great stuff for Sasquatch!

Great job Souly. I have actually been through a major transformation the past 4 years myself. I have lost like 45 pounds in the last 4 years. It is a tough process. It seems like it is easier than hell to gain weight, and harder than hell to loose it, but just keep motivated. Your before and after pics tell it all. You are doing fantastic!
Catsquatch, you were wondering about programs to tone your legs? Try Insanity. It is a bit extreme, but I am in the middle of the program and it has completely transformed my body. It is toning and leaning me out in all areas. It is the best workout I have ever done.

Dang, girl, you look awesome! What a difference! You also look much happier in the second picture. Obviously your hard work is paying off.

I've come to realize that festivals are the absolute best motivator for weight loss. I lost about 20 pounds before Sasquatch last year, and granted I gained back about 5 of those over these past holidays, but I've shed another 10 or so in the past couple months as well. I think we all just want to look and feel our best out there.
Souly, you've done such an incredible job. To say you've been an inspiration to me would be an understatement. Keep up the good work!

Me and Stormy have started our annual Sasquatch warm-up process. I went down a notch on my belt this week. I'm so happy that I finally get to participate in the girly thread.

You guys are awesome. Thank you so much for letting my blab about this stuff here. I've kind of been keeping it a secret from friends and family that I don't see very often, so it's nice to have this. Cat- I WILL fit one of those dresses. I haven't worn a dress casually since grade 8. It's on. Switch- My little brother does insanity workouts, they're nuts. The guy in them scares the crap out of me. Again, thanks guys. It really means a lot to me.

Switch - thanks for the suggestion! I'll look into it, but I tend to stick to my own work outs because I've never been good about following work out tapes. (Same reason why I never jumped on the P90x bandwagon) I prefer to take a live class or do something on my own. I was a huge participant in my "Guts n' Butts" class in college I also took a lot of yoga and kickboxing classes. There are a ton of yoga joints along my street where I live and I've been flirting with the idea of going there on a regular basis. But if you think Intensity works and is worth the money, I'll certainly be up for some alternative motivation because I'm serious as a heart attack about feeling comfortable with my thunder thighs again! Like I said, I've been running and I do leg squats and whatnot, but I am looking for something else to mix it up. Souly - I'm glad you're up for looking into wearing dresses! There is nothing better--IMO--than getting to rock the feminine sun dresses in the summer time. They're flirty and breezy. And what better way to show off your new killer body with a flirty dress?

. But if you think Intensity Insanity works and is worth the money I tend to not like following programs and videos either but as much as I don't like it, I can vouch for the Insanity program. It will kick your butt and leave you on the floor in a pool of your own sweat, but you will be in the best shape of your life after 60 days.

Haha I would need to take an ungodly amount of acid while wearing it so I could be "that guy."

I don't mean that in a bad way. But that picture looks like the demon from The Exorcist had a baby with Mary-Louise Parker.
