My girlfriend's boss rented out a house for his employees and their significant others to use for Coachella.
It probably gets his dick sucked a lot, actually.

Take it ease. Take a breath. The Coachella line up makes the burly PNW'ers all the more prepared for the cleanest Sasquatch line up yet.

I'm going if DFA1979 or Arcade Fire doesn't play sasquatch

I love how Coachella tries to confuse everyone. Last year they got everyone with the Thom Yorke ? this year its the layout of the poster. I'm just baffled by it, but time will pass and all will be made clear.

Sunday is definitely awesome. For some reason I am underwhelmed, it usually happens to me because I build them up in my head too much. Oh well still pretty good.
What am I even taking about, fucking DFA1979, thats the shit.

Holy shit. Reunited DFA1979.
The rest of the line-up I can take or leave. The only other band on there that I haven't seen yet that I would love to is Animal Collective.

isnt the layout the same as always? No. There are four headliners and a variable amount of subs. The original layout had the headliner then three subs then the rest. More recently it was two subs. But each day has a very different amount.

I think Saturday is the weakest of the 3 days by far, which leads me to believe that there will be more additions, maybe not a headliner, but something.
There is still about 8-10 bands a day, I want to see.

Impressive lineup. But I can't help but think, thank God for the insane undercards... cause the headliners don't inspire me to want to buy tickets. The Strokes and Arcade Fire - both headlined Lollapalooza LAST YEAR. And Kanye and Kings of Leon both suck ass.

isnt the layout the same as always? 2010: 2006: This is the most different poster design in a while. Don't know if that affects how the fest will be organized. The Kanye/Strokes night interests me - maybe Strokes first, 90-120 minutes, then Kanye closes the main? Anyway I agree with Geno - it will be sad when DFA1979 isn't on the Sasquatch poster. Almost enough incentive to go to Coachella.

My two cents on the upper echelon:
Friday: Amazingly underwhelming top three. I've seen Kings of Leon, the Black Keys, and Interpol at least three times each, and the Black Keys being average live blows away what I would say about the other two. Going through the first four lines, the only acts I'm interested in seeing are the Chemical Brothers, Cut Copy, Crystal Castles, and Boys Noize. Looks like I'm a rave kid Friday.
Saturday: If I made a top three of bands I've spent the most time listening to over the last five years, Broken Social Scene, Animal Collective, and Arcade Fire would be the top three. They are also three of my favorite live acts. Barring conflicts, I get to see them all in one day? Holy fuck. Mumford & Sons is gradually taking over the world, so them being listed third should only be a surprise if you don't follow pop music, but Animal Collective is number two? That makes zero sense. Also, there is zero chance I miss them. I'd skip Arcade Fire to see Animal Collective.
Sunday: This day is going to be tough. It's a good thing I'm not a Strokes fan, because of the top nine, only them and the National are acts I'm not stoked on, and that's just because I've seen the National a million times. If I can catch Kanye, Duran Duran, and Death From Above 1979 without conflict, I'll be happy.
Overall, I'm surprised how lame the headliners are. King of Leon have already headlined Bonaroo/Sasquatch/ACL, and Kanye/Arcade Fire/the Strokes have already headlined Lollapalooza. Nothing unique there. I wouldn't be surprised to see a large add (headliner/sub) on both Friday and Saturday.
