I just shotgunned my first beer at the polo fields. I left this morning 17 hours ago. It's been a fun trip already. Pace yourself, Gunther!

i was bummed they weren't streaming the odd future show on the coachella stream so i checked twitter, some highlights: uddernonsense: I just got a friggin bloody nose, my toenail got taken off and my feet got stamped on at the stupid odd future performance #coachella apocalypse2007: Just watched those Odd Future jdhfuakfb guys perform and left after 1 min. Absolute garbage. RODDYBOTTUM: Odd Future seem kinda angry. Spinfestivals: Dude blew chunks onto my shoe at Odd Future #coachella set. #noswag seems like a pretty successful show overall

Watched The Morning Benders earlier and currently watching Titus Andonicus. FUCKING SWEET. Watched a couple of seconds of Omar Rodriguez Lopez...fuck that guy. It brought back painful memories me of the God awful train wreck of a set they played at Sasquatch in '07.

Does anybody know if the crazy ass Animal Collective set tomorrow night is to be webcast? Granted I'll be busy seeing David Liebe Hart tomorrow night, but if Animal Collective is late enough, then it'll be way late on the east coast.

For some reason, neither Animal Collective or Arcade Fire will be on the webcast. But don't worry, they're gonna be getting Mumford & Sons and Bright Eyes!

Ya know, it kinda makes sense. Makes the people who actually get to be there feel a little more special, I guess. I'm not too bumbed. I have a feeling that visual presentation won't be near the same on a screen as opposed to experiencing it in 3D.

Wow that live Coachella webcast is really sweet. Gayngs and Flogging Molly were both killing it. Wasn't planning on checking out either at Sasquatch, but this webcast made me rethink that.

I don't know why anyone would miss Flogging Molly, that Coachella performance shows just how awesome they are live. Can't wait to see em at Sasquatch.

Because Chemical Brothers put on one of the craziest fucking shows I've ever seen in my life at the same time. No less than 100,000 glowsticks were thrown into the air last night.

I decided to wander a lot, and ended up catching multiple songs by 28 acts. Odd Future was horrible. Ariel Pink was a little bitch. The Sarah is ridiculous.

Coachella is an absolute sensory overload. I ended up just sampling most of the sets instead of catching full ones. Biggest surprise to me has been the do-lab. Dubstep, fire breathers, and acrobats all rolled together inside of an amazing and twisted structure. Props to you and the campers, Know. I don't know how I could manage without my hotel bed and hot shower.
A few things.
1. I learned yesterday that it is indeed possible to get high off music. I was completely sober until well after sunset but I sure didn't feel like it.
2. I ran into wompwomp at the port-o-potties. What a ridiculously nice guy. Glad we got to say what's up to each other!
3. Apparently I saw "Lauren" from The Hills, so there is my celebrity sighting. Whoever she is. I also thought I saw one of the members of Grizzly Bear and another friend saw Paul McCartney fist pumping to Afrojack.
