Just GA, I got them shipped to My friend in Alberta and they hadn't turned up so I changed my postal address to the Hostel address Im staying at the moment in Vancouver.
I never received/can't find an postage confirmation email, so i assumed there must be other people waiting as well?

Seems super weird to me. Generally you don't get shipping confirmations for Sasquatch tickets from what I remember. I would probably call them and ask them to either a. get on it or b. hurry the fuck up.

Yo... I have been to festivals in the past that have cell charging tents. Does Sasquatch offer this? Is there even service out there? Should I just bring my semaphore flags instead?

I don't recall a charging place, but I could be wrong. There is service, although it varies greatly by provider. Verizon seemed to have the best coverage from what I gathered. Walkie-talkies aren't a bad idea as an alternative. Or just pre-plan meetup times / spots. Or just do your own thing.

There was a cell charging station last year provided by Popchips INSIDE of the venue. No clue if it will be there again but my best guess would be yes, there will be the opportunity to charge your phone. I would bring the charger.

I must never have wandered over there. Of course, I also wasn't looking for a cell charger in the venue, I had brought my solio (see other threads) so charged it that way overnight.

cool. The phones will just be for pictures and texting/finding drunken lost people. The friend I am going with has never been to a music festival before (gasp!) and has a history of getting outlandishly blackout drunk.... From what I have heard Sasquatch is not terrible and the people that go are pretty considerate so hopefully she will be fine and I won't have to babysit too much...

My advice is to not babysit at all. You shouldnt have to sacrifice any part of your $500+ weekend becuase your friend can't drink responsibly.

What HG sad.
Also, just get a car charger for your phone. They're not very expensive and allow you to charge your phone while at site. Some cars need the keys in them to run the outlet, so just don't forget the keys in there and wander off.

I've done WAY too fucking much babysitting at Sasquatch; one day I realized that we are all adults and everyone needs to handle their own shit. The earlier you realize that, the happier you'll be.

Yeah, usually I go solo to festivals so I don't have to answer to or for anyone... Hopefully everything will go smoothly. I'm pretty sure we will just have an awesome time, but it is always good to check in if you loose your friends for the better part of a day or two...lol

I was thinking of doing that. Last year I paid a ton of money to stupid Rogers to make sure I could text and my phone stopped working right after the border. Grrr...
