I have not been in 2 years. Have they started accepting cards in the venue? If not, I would recommend to the virgin squatchers that they take out ample cash for the weekend. The ATMs inside have unholy fees. To add to that, don't keep all your cash in one place! Divide it up among a few spots. Detinitely hide some locked away in the car, and keep other valuables there too. While theft hasn't been a problem most of the years I've gone, a couple years ago davers and our neigbours did have bags stolen on the first night. The best tip I got was from the Glasto boards before I'd ever even been to Sasquatch, which said as soon as your tent is up, throw your bag in there and pull your shit out all over. Make it messy! The last thing thieves want to do is search through your stuff, they just want to quickly grab a bag and go.

What is the alcohol policy for the campsite? Is there any limit on the amount of beers/alcohol you can bring in per individual or car? Is hard liquor allowed? Lastly, are glass bottles allowed or only cans?
Cheers!

Cheers! There is no limit that I've ever found, other than the physical limit of how much I can consume in one weekend. "Binge drinking apparatuses" (i.e. Beer bongs) are, howver, prohibited and they will confiscate it if they see you using one. Having said that, though, in the 22 years I've been going to the Gorge, I've never personally seen security in the campground confiscate anything. But that's just me.

Party Time! beer bong the same year davers bag got stolen. Other than that, security barely ever looks at your stuff. There aren't any car searches upon entry (not to say that couldn't change at any point), so there's no enforcing of any limits on alcohol or glass. In fact, I think we almost always end up bringing way too much alcohol for fear of running out and then have to give it away to the Americans since we can't bring it all back.

It's always a treat to receive the Canadian bounty Tuesday morning. Oh my, yes it is. Also, Canadians are just the best camping neighbors in my experience. I've been lucky and have successfully avoided the dreaded dude-bro neighbors every year I've been. I hope to keep this streak alive...

On the order page for lockers it says campground locker. They are in the venue, correct? I need to clarify before I drop $50.

They were in the venue last year, between the Yeti and Bigfoot stages. Having them in the campground seems entirely pointless because everyone will have their cars.

That is what I wanted to hear. Thank you, davers.

Purchased a locker rental and I think I'm going to be very happy with that decision. Thanks everyone for the info!
I don't want to be too needy with my questions, but does anyone have advice about meeting up with friends before entering the campground? This is my fourth Sasquatch so I know that's the only way to camp with people you didn't drive with, but the issue is we're driving from Calgary and my other friends are coming from Vancouver, so opposite directions on the I-90. Anyone know of a good muster point?

Gas station in vantage. It's on your way if you're coming from cgy and just an exit or two after the gorge turn off if coming from Vancouver.

That's perfect, thank you! Side note, I looked it up on street view and realized I shotgunned a beer there last summer before Paradiso, totally forgot about it. Again, thanks!

Mighty fine gas station As a fellow calgarian, my only suggestion is to stop in Moses lake to shop for beer and food. At least, that's what we always do. Sasquatch is 3 solid days of safeway cheese bagels and fried chicken. Will see you at the beer darts.

Moses Lake, got it! We usually stop in Spokane for food and beer (except our first year when we decided to live off PB&J's and dry Cheerios, and nearly died), but I always get lost somehow in Spokane. Thank you fellow cow towner!

In some of the pictures I feel like I might see a barrier or something in the middle of the crowd on the main stage. It looks like it might keep people further away from the stage, reserving the front few rows for a special group of something. Does something like this exist or is it fully possible for someone with a normal wristband to get to the front row?

The barrier exists, but it's just to keep too much pressure from building on people in the front. The barrier is open on both sides so anybody can walk in, but there are rare cases when security stops letting people into the front section because it's too full. If it's a big act and you want to be right up front, it's best to get up there early.

And yeah I'm trying to get front row for Kendrick so I'm gonna get there right when the gates open.

If you're up front at the main stage from when the gates open, you'll miss great shows from Natalie Prass, S, Sharon Van Etten, Alvvays, Run the Jewels, and many more.

Does anybody have any experience with leaving cars at either the large parking lot in Vantage or at the Park n' Ride up in George for the weekend? I've read accounts that people have paid-per-day at the gas station and/or just left their cars up at the Park n Ride with no problems. We're trying to fit 12 in two cars but are in a bit of a pinch. I don't want to jump to any conclusions and end up with a towed car after the festival. Thanks ahead of time.

Yeah I know, it's definitely a sacrifice. I've already seen Run The Jewels and I'm hoping to catch Alvvays another time. There's just so many of my favorite bands on the stage that day (Courtney Barnett, Future Islands, Tame Impala, Kendrick Lamar) that I'd love to be close for.
