Girlfriend and I were selling Jell-O shots in the afternoon on a couple of the days. Yellowshirts came by and asked about them and we said we were giving them away for free. We gave them a couple and they went along on their merry way. Honeybucket guys traded some honeybucket t-shirts for some as well.

Isn't there some ridiculous loophole about "suggesting donations" for vending food (instead of setting a sale price) that lets you sort of avoid the regulations? Or am I completely off my rocker, as usual?

Or am I completely off my rocker, as usual? No, you're right. Right next to my tent in '10, there was these egg farmers from Oregon that cooked breakfast for "suggested donations" and they never had a problem.

Technically you need a permit. I think if you are selling and you don't have one they will just ask you to stop. Then there's those dudes we met in '10 who were selling breakfast burritos right on the main path; yellowshirts asked 'em to stop, and when they didn't they straight got thrown out of the campground. My advice is to not push your luck. It's a damn shame that dudes had to be thrown out for providing the ultimate service to humankind. I know this goes without saying, but I'm going to require immediate notification this year upon sight of these men.

Is Lumps officially going? Who all is officially going? I feel like I missed all of the confirmations. And everybody is going to the Chella. Give me some answers please.

Yeah man, Lumps is in. Newjersey is in, too. In fact, I think EVERYONE is in except for Cat, Stamper and Fox. Now we just need to convince Cat, Stamper and Fox.

Regarding food, the hippies HG is referring to were a belligerent caravan of hippies who kept yelling at the Yellow Shirts so that is why they got kicked out.

We should have a little list of who all's going (though I think HG is correct in saying that Stampz, Cat, and Foxy are the only regulars not going). So stoked to hang out with you all

Switch will be there. I also found out that Mrs. Switch gets to go this year! She was able to work things out with her work schedule. Bring your sunscreen because Sasquatch just got 10 degrees hotter. Oh happy day!

I mentioned it in another thread, but I found a way to go, at least for now. I'm still skeptical it will actually work, but I really hope it does.

This is probably retarded, but I got a question about buying liquor in WA. I've heard that liquor stores are closed on the long weekend, and grocery stores only sell beer and wine. Where would I be able to pick up hard alcohol on my way to the Gorge coming from Canada through Oroville, Okanagan, Riverside, Etc..
BTW I am a Sasquatch Rookie (Festival and Forum)

Also, if you're coming via ID, you can hit the liquor store in Sandpoint on Friday.

I thought they were open during the day on Saturdays but I am in Oregon so I could be wrong.
