at previous Sasquatchs? This is my first time and I am just wondering if there is anything we could bring to make our time more fun? Whether it be for the festival itself or just camping. What do ya say?

i havent attended sasquatch, yet , but i know from attending coachella in 06 that cell service is an issue. i got seperated from the people i was with and we couldnt meet back up, the towers were overloaded i guess? so in 07 we brought walkie talkies which were so helpful.

The biggest issue with Cells at the gorge is simply the matter of no cell towers. this venue is in a town with a very small population

you know, i actually get perfect service in the camp site, but very little in the venue...just stay with a friend i guess. walkie talkies are a great idea. it also helps that the gorge is much less chaotic than coachella though.

Agreed, my reception was perfect at the campsite, yet hit or miss at the show.
Sunscreen is a must (and I hate the stuff). It could be nearly 100, it was in 05.
Even if it is warm, it will be chilly at night, most likely, so a sweatshirt and warm blanket is nice.
Things to leave at home:
1. The newest Red Hot Chili Peppers album. (I'm talking to you pricks who played that album on repeat from 12 to 4am Saturday night/Sunday morning last year).
2. Canadian hockey fans. (although Montreal should be eliminated before Sasquatch, one can hope).
3. Popped collars.

For every popped collar I see in my day to day life, I punch a baby.
Thankfully, the chod to cool ratio is pretty low at Sasquatch.
I thought of something else I'm definitely bringing with...
an inflatable ball. Between sets at the main stage, my group had an obscene amount of fun tossing a globe beach ball around in the crowd. We were also high on love, so that's partly to blame.

Are their older albums ok? 2) Since I'm leaving the Canadian hockey fans at home, can I still bring the American ones? 3) EDIT: Go Flames Go!!

You should bring several Tragically Hip CDs. I'm guessing that was already planned though.

Last year someone apparently brought a bag of round pitas. The crowd at the wookie stage were flinging them in the air like frizbees one night. It passed the time waiting for the next band quite nicely.
