Local brewery, Bowser, put their Duble IPA on nitro and they were open on Christmas!!! Is this a typo or is it a Belgian style IPA?

Haha, gotcha. I was thinking it would be a strange strange IPA if it was mixed with a duble style. Does Bowser make good brews?

Hit or miss. The Double IPA is awesome. They are rotate through a ton of brews which is nice. This may sound strange, but they do a Jalapeno Hefe that is phenomenal. Probably my favorite beer they brew. No plans of bottling so don't expect to try any of it unless you make it to Great Fall, MT.

Between this past weekend and today I've been throwing back: Maritime Pacific Jolly Roger Lagunitas Cappuccino Stout Lagunitas Brown Sugga Hitachino Nest Extra High XH Iron Horse Cozy Sweater Widmer Brrr 21st Amendment Fireside Chat Big Al Winter Warmer Ninkasi Sleigh'r Holy shit I've gained at least five pounds from thick and delicious holiday beers alone. Worth it! That list looks worthy of an additional 5 pounds! I really like Jolly Roger this year. Super tasty. I am hoping to come across that on nitro somewhere. The Jolly Roger used to be my favorite beer, before it went seasonal. My homie used to be a regular at the Maritime Pacific brewery in Ballard, so many Jolly Rogers were consumed when I visited him. I hear they moved to a bigger location, so our old watering hole is no longer. I need to find this beer.

It is a lot bigger but still just as good. I fucking love their habanero bbq sauce so much. It does make me drink their beers too quick though

This stuff is popular down here in Texas. The 711 near our hotel didn't have the greatest selection. I don't think I'm a big Bock fan.

Dude, that beer is tasty. I like their Alt a lot. The only thing is it costs nearly $10 for a 22oz bottle! I am going to check if they have more of their beers tonight

Madison River Brewing out of Belgrade, MT (just out of Bozeman if that helps) is starting to brew some of the vest beers in the state. Recently had a Fresh Hop to die for.

I fucking love that beer so much but I just can't justify it (often). I've really wanted to try the Galactic Imperial Red but it's always like $13 a bottle and fuck that.

Dogfish Head Indian Brown Ale Pretty interesting style of beer. 7.2% very hoppy brown ale. Goes perfectly with some Black Breath Attachments:

Fucking BOOM! Been waiting for months for the Enjoy By to finally get to Washington. Well worth the wait! Pretty fucking amazing IPA. Also super stoked to have some Sucks again! It's been a long year without it.

Love that Sucks. It contributed to the burliest hangover I have had in a while last weekend. Good times with Souly and Burrito.

Did a blind taste testing of Samuel Smith's Yorkshire Stingo 2009, 2010 and 2011 last Saturday. Wow that was a treat. If you ever see the Stingo for sale make sure and grab one. Great beer.

I had the best homebrew I've ever had the other night. I found it in my fridge mysteriously labelled "SEX". Although it made me nervous to drink it, it turned out to be a caramelly stout and was amazing. So, y'know, if a bottle labelled SEX turns up in your fridge, you should probably give that shit a shot!

The new variety pack from Sam Adams, Spring Thaw, is actually damn good. It includes: Boston Lager, Alpine Spring, Maple Pecan Porter, Double Agent IPA, White Lantern, and an Irish Red.
You can imagine it must be pretty bad in Texas if I am praising Sam Adams but I would praise this variety pack even if I were still in Portland. The IPA is damn good and refreshing, the porter is a little sweet but is very interesting, and the rest of them are really flavorful.

I understand about the Sam Adams as I used to drink that when I lived in a place with shitty beer. But that porter sounds nasty.
