For sure. It does sound delicious and it is. It is super light and mild - drinks like an ale. It's good stuff. However, I think that they stop offering the milk stout on the 20th (or so I read). I would check.

Also, is it just me or do the words "milk stout" just sound delicious together? My mouth waters every time I say it. "I'll have the milk-steak, boiled over hard."

Haha, that show isn't really funny to me anymore, but that was a fantastic episode.

That show has been consistently awful since season 5. For whatever reason, the poor quality of the most recent seasons have somehow ruined the entire series for me. I can barely watch any of the old episodes anymore.

Family from Oregon are in town this weekend for my sister's wedding and they brought some goodies.
10 Barrel - Oregon Brown Ale (really hoppy and very tasty brown) Occidental Brewing - Maibock (super enjoyable) Terminal Gravity/Double Mountain Collaboration IPA (goes by Gravity Mountain. I think that TG and DM do better beers alone but it was alright)

Maibocks are delicious, but they can really knock you on your ass if you drink more than a couple.

Maibocks are delicious, but they can really knock you on your ass if you drink more than a couple. Yeah for sure, they brought a growler and we all shared it (about 8 people). I could see it knocking me on my ass if I was drinking 20oz pints.

I threw back back about 90 oz of Big Horn Maibock last year and subsequently had one of the worst hangovers of my life the next day. Sometimes being a member of a mug club has it's consequences.

Great minds Stormy! I like that we thought the same exact thing.

Anyone still interested in participating in a 22 swap? I'll bring a couple Montana brews you bring a couple form wherever it is you call home. Let me know.
Worst case scenario is also the best case scenario: The swap doesn't occur and the parties involved drink tasty brews regardless.

I would be down for that if I wasnt coming from Canada and therefor buying all my beer in the grocery store, based mostly on price and 4 or 5 cases of beers that look interesting.
You got Cold Smoke out there, right? Bring me a Cold Smoke and I will trade you some glowsticks. My Montana friends aren't coming this year which means we can't do our tradition of them bringing us a Cold Smoke and us drinking it.

I'll trade you a Bottleworks 13th Anniversay ale brewed by Stone for something

A little gimmicky with the whole 13 hops and 13 grains thing, but it's a little over 11% abv and packs a punch.

imnotverycleverHaha yea it sure sounds that way. If I find myself up by Bottleworks soon I'll remember to pick one up. I hate to say it, but I've been pretty let down by a lot of the Stone beers I've had lately. The last great one I remember having was a Japanese green tea IPA collaboration with Baird and Ishii brewing companies. It might have just been the best beer I've ever had, but I try not to convince myself of that since it was a limited release and I'll likely never get to taste it again
