Don't think I haven't told them that. You and Me is pretty much just studio goofs, even if there's some great stuff on there ('Your Father Says Hey', 'Take the Pill', and -- forgive me -- 'Roni and Cheez')... I'd kill for Our Land Brains on vinyl.

No one should have to forgive anyone for 'Roni and Cheez. It is a catch song and also I like to eat it.

Action Stations! Action Stations! The Co-op liquor store downtown Calgary has Lagunitas IPA in stock. Coincidentally, so does the fridge in my condo.
This is NOT a drill.

I know Sherbrook Liquor in Edmonton usually has Lagunitas IPA, but I always find it tastes stale, I think I've had 1 case out of maybe 6 I've bought that have tasted good. I find I'm disappointed with the quality of lots of their imports. Does anyone know another store in Edmonton that sells Lagunitas IPA?

You poor, sad Canadians and your lack of Lagunitas. I don't mean that to be patronizing, I just am sad that you don't have access to that sweet nectar.

It's easily on par with my current "best IPA of all time" which is this: flyingdogales.com/beers/#/Canis%20Major/Raging%20BitchInterestingly, the first time I had Raging Bitch was Sasquatch 2011. I picked up a 6-pack at Super Deli Mart in West Seattle. I have yet to see anything from Flying Dog in Calgary. Next time I'm in the USA I'm buying a bunch.

The Lagunitas IPA is definitely one of my favorites, but the Lagunitas Sucks and Lil Sumpin series are somehow even tastier. God DAMN do I love that brewery.

J-Dawg did they have any Lagunitas other than the IPA? They had the pilsner, the IPA, and a third which I don't recall offhand. They're on the "back shelf" inside the beer fridge.

Went to San Francisco in September and did not plan ahead...i guess Anchor Brewery is only open to public for tours in specified times. Next time I guess...at least we got to hit up 21st Amendment (super good if you're into hops )

Last brew of the night (I think). Stone's 15th Anniversary Imperial Black IPA. 10.8% ABV. I am not always a huge fan of the Black IPA (Cascadian Dark) but this one is pretty tasty. Attachments:

That Stone 15th was unbelievable. I could only bring myself to drink one though. I don't really need to experience something that rich once.
Stone's 13th anniversery ale was SO phenomenal, and I've been bummed ever since that it was a one-time release.

It was a strong ale. Somewhat along the lines of Arrogant Bastard but in my opinion just a much better all around beer.
