If [The Black Keys] are there, they will be headlining. This has given me a great idea for a new series of signatures.

If Nirvana are there, they would be headlining?

If Eve 6 were there, they'd be headlining!

I like the look of this. Siamese Dream would be nice to have on vinyl. Too bad the live DVD's aren't included with the vinyl reissues. www.smashingpumpkins.com/#

Man, I have Siamese Dream on vinyl already. I can't imagine what in the world there is to fuck around with about the sound or production. It is absolutely perfect. The warmest and most comforting guitar tones. That shit wraps you up like an old blanket. Hopefully he doesn't mess with it too much.

Siamese Dream is one of the few cds I've managed to hold on to since it's release.

Siamese Dream was the second album I had ever bought. First was Discovery by Daft Punk. I love both of these albums to this day. I was OBSESSED with The Smashing Pumpkins until I saw "them" at endfest 2007 in seattle. What a disappointing night that was...

My little brother was a lunatic for the Smashing Pumpkins back in the day. It got to the point where I just kind of hated them by default.
Anyway one day shortly after Mellon Collie and the Infinite Sadness was released, Dude (we call my brother Dude) saw on television that there was a minor tornado that was passing near our neighborhood, and since this was before the internet was invented Dude did what he always did when he needed information: he picked up the telephone and called the DJ at the local Alternative station.
So the DJ answers the phone, and before Dude can say shit about any tornado the DJ says, "Congratulations, you're caller number eleven! Two tickets to the Smashing Pumpkins show at the Cow Palace next week are yours if you can answer this one question: Who produced the first two Smashing Pumpkins albums, and is also the drummer for Garbage?"
So of course Dude knew that anyway, but also Butch Vig was the brother of my Dad's business partner at the time. And of course Dude already HAD tickets to the Smashing Pumpkins show, so that's how I ended up with a ticket myself. Plus Garbage opened, and they were wicked good. And I have to say Smashing Pumpkins sounded pretty tight in what like 1995, even if Billy wore that same greasy ZERO shirt every damn day of that tour. I could smell it from my seat.

My cousin is still an unabashed fan, though. Like, so unabashed. He named his son Corgan, and he and his wife traveled all the way to Las Vegas from Utah to see them at the Hard Rock a couple weeks ago. I don't understand some people.

Yah. It's pretty cool to be able to tell the other kids on the first day of school that you were named after a rock star, but not when he is the greasiest, least cool, most washed up rock star since Sammy Hagar.

HAHA. I can't believe that that the Axl Rose is set embark on another tour. Although, when I saw them last year it was pretty damn entertaining and drama free. They actually hit the stage on time and performed well.
Sebastian Bach opened for them. He was terrible.
