I think Melissa McCarthy is hilarious, personally. I liked the movie. It didn't blow my mind or anything, but I enjoyed it. The parts I didn't like as much were all the Apatow stuff.

He produced or something and added in a bunch of stuff like that.

Yea that part wasn't funny at all. I think that's what sort of turned me off of the rest of the movie. The only funny shit scene ever in a movie was obviously in Dumb and Dumber.

Weird, I've only heard good things about Bridesmaids. I'll watch it with you guyz next time I'm in Atlanta (maybe on my way back from Sasquatch, since on the way isn't gonna work).

I thought Bridesmaids was funny. The part where she says "You do?" on the airplane is easily the best part of the entire movie.

Dangit. It's been forever since I've seen that movie.

I went and saw The Avengers last night and came to the following realizations: 1. I have no regrets about having never seeing Thor. 2. I really want to see Captain America now. 3. Robert Downey Jr. and Jeremy Renner pretty much steal every scene of every movie they're in. 4. I am the furthest thing from a comic book geek there probably is.
The movie itself...blah.

I liked Captain America and Thor. Ruffalo made me want to watch the Hulk movie. But, yeah, blah.

Yeah, Thor was pretty good. Captain America was much better -- I was stunned at how much I enjoyed that shit.
The Avengers was a hot fuckin' mess. Too many MCs, not enough mics.

Yeah, Thor was pretty good. Captain America was much better -- I was stunned at how much I enjoyed that shit. quote] I was the exact opposite -- I thought Captain America was decent but fell asleep during part of it, and I was surprised at how much I liked Thor. I haven't seen Avengers yet, but after all these so-so reactions to it, I'm not really in a rush to anymore.

We saw The Avengers at the drive-in last night and both fell asleep. I'm sick though so I'll probably give it another shot sometime.

I think I'm finally committing myself to finishing the Harry Potter movies. I've only ever seen the first two, so HERE WE GO!
