Also not to rip on you, but TMNT is not the same idea as the Garbage Pale Kids. Uhh, explain? Both are terrible movies, enjoyed only by nostalgia and by the sure hilarious awfulness of them. TMNT is way more badass though, with those "fighting" sequences. And the score is fantastically synthy. Come to think of it, I actually can't remember a thing about Garbage Pail Kids. I saw it drunk, after suffering through Troll 2 (which really is the worst movie ever, not enjoyable on any level.)

Piranha 3D was one of my favourite movies of the year.

Whatever else happens here, we need to leave Teen Wolf out of it. Teen Wolf is fucking DOPE.
Thanks for clearing up my point, Friendly D. That is precisely what I meant. And Sufjan, arguments about music and arguments about movies are completely different things. You can't flip my logic on me like that when it's something I said about something completely unrelated. 'Lowest Common Denominator Shit' in terms of movies is completely forgivable, for reasons that I could explain but choose not to because this thread has become a pube counting contest.

Fair enough, let's just agree to disagree and move on. Feel free to send me your thoughts on the subject in a pm if you'd like. Teen Wolf is super dope.

I went in to Squatch '10 determined to start doing the Teen Wolf dance from the prom scene at the end of the first movie and have it spontaneously catch on and spread across the entire festival, and then LCD Soundsystem played 'All My Friends'.

There are dozens of people who will claim to have started the LCD dance party. I think probably the credit belongs to LCD.

I claim to be the very last. I only did it like five times before it petered out. I didn't know it was happening though, I was wholly absorbed and not looking behind me.

well back to movies. I love them. Any one see the new true grit? Not only is it Jeff bridges (the Dude) but it is a pretty good remake of a john wayne film that was a little to sappy for my taste. The remake is much more raw and well funny also

Because Teen Wolf dancing is so distantly removed from the world of film as to be irrelevant.
The Coens' 'True Grit' was an adaptation of the Charles Portis novel, btw, and not a remake.
