I'm fascinated by stories that are so incredibly fucked up and will likely never be fully solved. Reminds me of a documentary called "There's Something Wrong with Aunt Diane." Trying to explain it on my phone won't do it justice, but I'd recommend reading the premise on wikipedia or something if you're interested in another disturbing mindfuck of a story.
It's filed under "2009 Taconic state parkway crash" on wikipedia.

You like fucked up? Watch "Snapped" on the Oxygen network. And then thank me for your obsession. Sorry, it isn't a movie, but it is an hour long television show

The documentary was very chilling and provided some pretty unsettling 911 calls from other motorists on the road, as well as security footage of her right before the crash. The timeline and toxicology reports of the event make zero fucking sense and will probably never be solved. Very weird and sad story.

Went and saw Girl With the Dragon Tattoo. I loved all the books, so I was really looking forward to the movie. It was pretty solid, Rooney Mara and Daniel Craig were both amazing. But that rape scene...holy shit....

Gross. I could barely make it through the rape scene in A Clockwork Orange.

The Ides of Smarch is so bad. It was like a grade five melodrama about politics.

The Girl with the Sexually Exploited and Misogynistic Females Are Only Super Cool and Tough When They Exert Male Violence Traits But Also Look Sexy Doing It Tattoo is not my cup of tea.
Also I hate when rape is used as a cheap plot device, makes my skin crawl. Sorry y'all.

While we're mentioning horrible movies, I watched the new Jonah Hill movie, The Sitter, last night. Easily the worst and unfunniest movie he's ever been in. I only remember chuckling once throughout the entire thing. Avoid at all costs.

The Adventures of Tin Tin is fucking fantastic. I'd put it right along side Raiders of the Lost Ark, The Last Crusade, and Romancing The Stone in terms of action adventure movies. The computer animation is flawless and perfectly captures an exaggerated cartooney yet realistic style unlike anything I've seen before.
So many amazing things to point out, but I'll stick to only a few. The opening credits are wonderful and explain Tin Tin and what he's all about for anyone unfamiliar with the character. This then segues into a brilliant scene for those of us who are familiar with Tin Tin and makes both the artistic and mental transition of how Tin Tin is going to look in this specific film while giving props to the original Tin Tin comics. It is so clever, Speilberg is a genius. There is also a chase scene in Morocco that is done all in one shot, which may not be as big of a deal in terms of execution as it is animated, but visually it will knock your socks right the fuck off and have you saying, "best action sequence ever!".
