Dudes... The Muppets, oh man, so good. So very fucking good! Better than you could hope for. It was like seeing an incredible concert, I am buzzing right now, my seratonin levels are off the goddamn chart from nothing but wonderment and the laughter of a theater full of kids. They did such a fantastic job and chose the most brilliant and enjoyable way to update people on who the Muppets are. Great from the very start. I had a few tears of joy and uncontainable emotion running down my face during the "We Built This City on Rock and Roll" part. There were other moments too but I won't give any spoilers. That movie put everything right with the world. For real, the second I got out of theater I ran into a guy that I had a major falling out with 6 years ago when I was younger and stupider, we haven't spoken this entire time, we immediately hugged and exchanged numbers. What the fuck? I was even lovin' Cage The Elephant's new song while driving home (I'm sure that will change when my Muppet high wears off). But for now imma enjoy the buzz of experiencing 98 perfect minutes.

MUPPETS SPOILERZ
Seriously FD, Audrey and I looked at each other during "Rainbow Connection," and we both had tears on our faces. The entire last 40 minutes were some of the most emotional movie-going I've had in a long time. Absolutely delightful.
I basically left wishing that they could take the momentum from this movie and start the TV show back up again, make more movies, etc. - but really, it stands absolutely perfect as it is. I'll wait until another Muppets fanatic like Jason Segel comes around again and reinvigorates the franchise.

The only complaint, Muppet fuckin' Hipsters. These ass bags behind us were being so loud thinking they were the only people in the world who understood the Muppets were cool. This is a good time to mention they were all of 19 fucking years old. They were pretending that they were like raised by Muppets or something. When the first song came on they actually said, "Awww I didn't think there would be singing in this". Mother fuckers know their Muppets for sure. Idiots. Anyway, luckily when skinny jeans meet giant beard and an evil fuckin' stare, giant beard shuts skinny jeans up everytime. Yeah, for once in my life I used my size and appearance to intimidate kids... er people I mean, but I don't care and I'd do it again in a heartbeat. I'm probably the last person on earth to advocate for human death, but Muppet hipsters are sub human and should die.

There are very few people who can say they've done that.

That was the best review for a movie that I've heard in forever friendly. I had to read it out loud to the people I'm with and we all cracked up/got so excited! We're all going to see it this weekend!

I know admitting this is committing Sasquatch board suicide, but I've never been into the Muppets. For whatever reason though I'm definitely interested in seeing this movie with all of the reviews it's been getting.
