I have. It was called the crowd for LCD last year. I cannot dispute that. I was one of the 8 people watching Girls set (which I enjoyed by the way) whilst LCD was kicking ass. I really wanted to see Girls, so I saw about a song and a half before I realized that they were really flat and boring, which was a huge disappointment, and then I went and saw LCD Soundsystem. This incredibly boring narrative brought to you by how much I wanted to love Girls and how bummed I am that they were lame.

The new B&S isn't anything to write home about, unfortunately.

Also, I need to throw in a couple late additions to my list.
Matt & Kim - Sidewalks. Went out on a limb and bought this album without ever hearing them and I absolutely love it. I've since dug into their back-catalog and consider myself an all around fan now. Great band!
Diamond Rings - Special Affections. Saw his song "All Yr Songs" on The Needle Drop's top 50 songs of 2010 so I decided to check it out. Quite a flamboyant character and his music is really really good. Picked up the album this week and have had in in heavy rotation since.

I actually enjoyed the B&S album quite a bit. It took time to grow on me. They're really not quite as good without what's her name, though.
And yeah 2010 disappointed me several times. Interpol, jj, Massive Attack to add to your list of albums that weren't quite as good as I'd hoped.

2010 records that leaked in 2009 are still considered 2010 records.

So I hate to link anonther message board here, but I if you want best of 2010 lists, most of them are linked somewhere in this thread: www.coachella.com/forum/showthread.php?t=43098I have stickied it on my work computer so that for the next 6 months I can find out what I missed in 2010 - which is apparently a whole fuckin lot.

That's exactly why I can only spend about 5 minutes on the Coachella boards before wanting to pull my teeth out. WAAAY too many pages. WAAAY too many posters. WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY too many comments. It's like a rapid-fire forum on meth over there.

Same with Bonnaroo: The Message Board. That is the reason I stick around here even though I'm probably not going to Sasquatch this year.

Reminded me why I loved them in the first place

I don't know if you got a chance to see them on their tour with the xx last spring but it was one of the absolute worst shows I've ever seen. It was poorly done karaoke with pictures of beaches behind them. I had to apologize to all of my friends who I had said would enjoy their set.

I didn't see it. That sucks because they seem to have the ambitious sort of bent that you would think would translate to a cool live set. Obviously not.

I am really enjoying the love that Titus is getting on here. Maybe not the most perfect album of the year, but definitely my favorite. Also, they are probably the best live punk band I've ever seen. Really nice guys too. They deserve all the acclaim.
