Very informative responses guys!
I'm gonna try to make it but I'm going to the sub pop comedy thing first. I really doubt it will end early enough for me to make it but does anyone have a guess when Deafheaven might go on?

I ended up bailing on the comedy show when D Cross did.
El Corazon tends to run a little early. I wouldn't be surprised if they're done before midnight.

Who's going to BtS on Saturday, and when do y'all plan on showing up?

Yeah, I was guessing they'd play from about 11 to Midnight as well which is a shame. Unless the comedy show gets out by 10:30 I doubt I'll make it. I'll be at the Sub Pop thing all day Saturday though.

Hey all! Been awhile. Hope everyone's doing alright. So I am looking at coming to Seattle to see Pearl Jam in December, but am not sure how hard it will be getting tickets. If anyone obtains an extra pre-sale code along the way would you be ever so awesome as to provide me with it?

10/07 This Town Needs Guns at the Crocodile with Mylets and As I Watch You From Afar. If you're on the fence about seeing TTNG, talk to badchoices or me, we both saw them open for Tera Melos and they absolutely killed it. I am going to this for sure. ASIWYFA are so fucking rad live and, like Nick said, TTNG absolutely killed it. Mylets seems pretty cool and he he is going to have a drummer on tour (this dude is only 18!). ALSO, on 9/17 Bosnian Rainbows is playing at The Crocodile! They haven’t put it on the calendar and tickets aren’t available yet but I am monitoring it like a hawk. Last time we saw them at Triple Door so I am surprised it is going to be at The Crocodile. Should be a special night. I see they are also at Rifflandia so if any of you are conflict-free during their set you should check it out!

Holy balls! You were right up in front there. I am stoked/jealous that you guys got to see Marriages, too. They are a band that I always seem to miss for one reason or another. How was El Corazon for that show? I haven’t been there for a few years.

There were more than a few assholes in the crowd, but it was mostly a good time. All-ages syndrome I guess.
Sound was pretty tight from where I was standing, much better than ElCo has been in the past.

It was one of the best sounding shows I've ever seen there. Man I hate that venue though.

Went to a free P. the Man show with doumak tonight in SE Portland. I've never spent any time at all with Venezuela. the Woman (and I tend to confuse them with both the Tallest Man on Earth and Ladysmith Black Monzabo), but I was surprised by how many of their songs I recognized and how much I enjoyed drinking a bottle of beer by the river on a summer day.
Next stop: Phish at the Gorge.

I was at the park for the show too, but we got there too early in the day and were getting tired of being in the heat so we didn't stick around for P. The Man. A few of the opening bands were pretty good though!
Next stop What The Festival for me! I'm mentally salivating about the idea of sitting in the splash pool and listening to Classixx play a DJ set on funktion one speakers. That's my definition of bliss!
