She was so much fun! My only regret was finding myself so far back in the crowd for her set. ...and behind the soundboard no less. Completely obstructed view ftw!

Saw her a couple years ago and yeah, she was really great. Girl has some pipes. I definitely plan on checking her out in Montreal. I was watching DJ Shadow bring the ruckus at Coachella.

So Naked and Famous were incredible last night! Shame they aren't on the festival circuit this year but, as they said last night, they've been touring since 2010 and this is the last stop of their tour, so it's been a long road for them. Anyone that can make it out to their show tonight, I highly suggest it since this will be the last one for a while to come. You could tell they really put some extra energy into it last night and my friends who'd seen them before said they blew away their last show. Guarantee tonight will be even crazier.

Good To Die Records showcase is now at Highline Bar since Barboza is still not ready to go. Will be a killer time tonight if anybody wants to see some harder rock. Sandrider and Dog Shredder are going to kill it.

That seals it, I'm there. Edit: what the shit, sold out now? Off to craigslist...

Davers you can probably get a ticket at the door. That's what my friend did last night. I think it only says sold out online cuz it's the day of the show.

Ya, they pull tickets offline a few hours before showtime for sure. I'm really sad I can't go to this. I loved them the last time I saw them.

If I didn't already take yesterday off work to go them, I'd be taking tonight off for the show for sure. Unfortunately, everyone at work knows where I was last night so I can't call in sick without major questioning and side-eyeing.

Anyone going to M83 tomorrow in van? Anyone with an extra ticket.... I've looked everywhere and I won't pay $80 - $100. I didn't even know he'd be here until I saw a sign while waiting to get into the commodore for the naked and famous.

Good luck trying to find a cheaper ticket but that show, just like their last, is very sold out. I'd say your best bet is to just go down and see if any one has extra outside the venue, like a friend bailed last minute type deal.

Thanks. I may just pass on this one and wait for next time. I don't really want to drive an hour into Vancouver unless I know for sure.

There's a whole bunch else going on just down the street, you wouldn't be at a loss for the evening if you didn't get a ticket.

I'll head down regardless, there were tickets a couple days ago so it's not like it's crazy sold out, for shows like that you can usually get face value tickets or better from people with extras.

The Naked and Famous last night was pretty fantastic. I could tell during the openers they had a pretty good light show set up behind them but I didn't expect it to be THAT good. They seemed to give it everything they had. The highlight for me was 'No Way', that song is a whole different kind of awesome live, especially with the crowd singing along.
At the end the brought out both of the opening bands and all the crew for the last part of 'Young Blood' and they had a giant group hug. It was really cute.
The only downer was after the show the speaker started playing that Fun. song, and it was stuck in my head for most of the ride home.
Edit: I just remembered that Sophie Lui from the local morning news was standing in front of us at the show (which was great because shes like 5 foot nothing). We talked to her for a little while before The Naked and Famous came on. She had to be at the studio at 4:30am for the news. She was clearly not looking forward to it. I meant to PVR it to see if she made it but completly forgot.
