Burrito, I just realized Sabbath is this weekend! I hope you have a good time!
I can't thank you enough, dude. Sabbath rocked our fucking faces off tonight. The seats were right in front of Iommi's quadruple stacks, so I won't be hearing anything for awhile, but in a positive, satisfying kind of way.
We arrived to the pit area as the band was taking the stage, and the organization was so terrible that three different yellow/blue shirts couldn't tell us where our seats were. It took us about three songs to finally find the row we were supposed to be seated in ourselves, but we ended up just standing in the aisle because everyone was constantly "going fucking crazy" at Ozzy's request, and we clearly weren't able to move past anyone. After the show we found our seats (plastic folding chairs) overturned in a big pile with about 20 others in the middle of the row. Rock and roll through and through. Imagine 18 rows of folding chairs back from the front of the pit, except the first 15 rows are removed for a small standing area, so we were actually in row 3 of the seated section, in front of the amplifiers on the rightmost end of the stage. If we had actually been in the seats we would have been closer to the large stage-side speakers, rather than the amps.

Every time I've seen Ozzy/Sabbath I can't help but laugh at the aerobics routine he puts the crowd through. " Put your fucking hands in the air!", "Clap you fucking hands like this!", "Go fucking crazy!" Ozzy is the metal version of Richard Simmons.
I've been to 2 shows at the Gorge that had seats on the floor. Both times they were super strict about people standing in the walkways, and not at their assigned seat. That's pretty cool that Sabbath could stir shit up enough to make the seating policy fall apart.
