I'm going to this if I can get tickets. #Pray4Totino 4/7 LCD Soundsystem @ Brooklyn Steel NYC I ended up driving 500 miles from NC to NYC the day of their last show of this run without tickets in hand on the gamble that they would release some last minute and my friends and I would be able to nail the location/timing. It worked and was probably the best day of my life. The new songs kick ass. Didn't wind up happening for me how were the new songs?

They were stellar live, they played them all at once and they each had a very unique sound. I'm really curious to hear how they sound recorded though. Photo for proof/bragging rights: Attachments:

Speaking of LCD singles, that Christmas one is currently listed on Discogs for $80 at its lowest. Jeebus. Glad I got that one early...

It looks like Bruno Mars is headlining an event that is part of a conference I'm going to in June for work. I am not familiar with him as an artist, but will for sure go to participate, and probably get some free food and drinks.

Im not really a fan of his in particular, but the couple times I've seen him on tv were actually really good. He is one hell of a performer for sure. I don't think I would ever buy a ticket to see him, but I definitely wouldn't turn down the chance to see him for free.

I've always wanted to catch a Crystal Method live set. I hope that is what I can expect. I can't picture them going up there and djing before Tool comes on.

I'll be glad to see them either way, but a live set would be ideal.

Oh yeah! Managed to score two tickets to The National in Vancouver on the Saturday night!!! Not the best seats (Balcony LC), but at least now I will have a chance to see them doing their own show instead of a festival show.

I expected them to be more than that.
