Has anyone tried or been able to get Sleater-Kinney tickets this morning? Their website won't load for me. EDIT 20 minutes later: Now the tour page will load, but the BUY TICKETS link takes me to an etix.com page that says the tickets aren't on sale. But Sleater-Kinney's website says they are on sale! Final EDIT: Now the presale has sold out without ever being able to buy tickets. This is frustrating because I won't be by a computer Friday morning for general onsale. If any Portland boarder can buy me 2 tickets to the Crystall Ballroom show when they go on sale on Friday morning, I will reimburse you in full and buy you a beer for your troubles. Please send me a PM if you can do it! ( wonk?)

Are there any Portland area boarders going to the Alt-J show tonight? Thinking about picking up a ticket and staying up past my bedtime...

Need to get me one of those. You coming? Definitely planning on it! I missed them at 'squatch but they slayed at Block Party. We'll see how my budget shakes out, but at $10 it shouldn't be too hard to make it over there.

Philip Selway is playing a full band show at The Old Church in Portland on 4/16. I did not know that was a venue. (He's also playing Seattle @ Columbia City Theatre on 4/15.)

Your password is NATION 94.7 radio in Portland. That seems to make their assumed Sasquatch appearance slightly less likely. Edit: I forgot about their 5/27 Red Rocks Show. That evidence is compelling, but Keller Auditorium in March, Sasquatch in May, and Edgefield in July seems excessive. I know they're local, but that just seems like a lot to me.

You're probably right, but it seems like too much to me. I really don't care either way since their set will just give me a chance to check someone else out.

Helms Alee, Marriages, Grenades @ Neumos. Tomorrow will be the day I finally get to see Marriages. NO MORE AVOIDING ME MARRIAGES. I seem to always be out of town or busy when they come through. You PDX people get them tonight if you are interested. Can't go wrong with that bill (Grenades won't be in PDX).

Thanks for the heads up. I just saw that yesterday and already have plans to hit it up! Can't wait to have my ear drums shredded. Did you make it to the show? I heard it may have sold out. We did make it to the show but when we arrived it was sold out. We asked the bartender to keep an ear out for extra tickets and after a about an hour of sitting around drinking beers Jon, the lead singer of Sandrider, came by and asked if we were the ones looking for tickets. WE said yes and he added us to their guest list. That was amazing that they did that for us. Sandrider melted my face yet again and this story proves that they are a solid group of guys! They did two of the best covers I have ever seen live...Nirvana's "School" and Janes Addictions "Mountain Song". Fuck were they great.
