Sept 2 - !!!/Ra Ra Riot Sept 3 - The Men Sept 4 - GY!BE Sept 5 - CHVRCHES Sept 6 - The Weeknd Sept 14 - Bosnian Rainbows Sept 14 - The Legendary Pink Dots (mainly because of HG, again, conflicts and stuff) Sept 21 - Islands Sept 22 - The National Sept 23 - Peter Hook and The Light Sept 27 - Jake Bugg Sept 27 - Gold Panda (conflicts again, but it might actually be possible to do both of these) Oct 6 - Man Man Oct 7 - Gary Clark Jr. Oct 8 - Father John Misty Oct 14 - Gwar Oct 15 - King Khan and His Shrines Oct 16 - Melt Banana (mainly because of this board) Oct 20 - The Naked and Famous

DEERHUNTER! I've never seen Gary Numan (yet), but Deerhunter are easily on my top 5 shows list. I'm actually considering an attempt to drive to Vancouver for that show, even though I'm not supposed to. PS. Fuck yes to Melt-Banana.

I have seen the hour set and the 2.5 hour set and honestly they were equally enjoyable. They know how to pack the punch.

My fairly reliable source is the one dude in Portland who managed to get in line to see the Residents at Hawthorne before I did. I was halfway through writing a follow-up post which passed on the information that they were only playing for an hour because they would be sharing the bill with Swans, who would be performing a very special acoustic set, but then I realized that he was joking.
