When is the lineup for Coachella being released anyway? This is no longer the Coachella discussion thread Stuart. Go here: sasquatchfest.proboards.com/index.cgi?action=display&board=other&thread=969 My bad Gunther

I know people were talking about dispatch a while ago but did someone point out that their first reunion date is on 6/4 in Colorado? I'm not a fan but they kind of fit the mold of a monday headliner...
then again they are playing red rocks by themselves in CO so I guess they are playing huge shows and may be too big

The storm of Horned Gramma posts that will ensue when I get back to my work station and start catching up on all these threads. Starting with some paranoid questions concerning how Gunther knows my travel plans so well. "The storm" referring to the flood of information and board activity that starts the first week in January, right about the time everyone gets back from vacation, and realizes the next thing they have to look forward to in their pitiful little lives is the Sasquatch lineup announcement. I was not specifically singling out anyone's pitiful life in particular.

I have been following most of the threads but I start to comment more in January because the conversation starts to turns to the festival and becomes more interesting instead of 5 threads talking about growing up in Idaho.

Crazy because they're at Primavera that weekend. I'm hoping they charter a flight with Fleet Foxes, Belle and Sebastian, Grinderman, Male Bonding, Pulp, The Walkmen and Twin Shadow

Their entire touring schedule is madness. Vancouver to Toronto overnight? Followed by a continental flight back to the West Coast for San Fran a few days later with no off nights in between? They're daredevils as well as comedians.

holy shit, well there goes the Atlas Sound/Surfer Blood Theory. And yeah that schedule is bonkers Vancouver -> Toronto -> Hamilton -> Rochester -> San Diego -> Echo Park on consecutive nights, then a four day break before going to Pennsylvania then back the next day for the Announcement party. Racking up those air miles.

This Das Racist band is like somebody took LMFAO and accomplished the impossible by making them worse.

I honestly haven't heard a single thing from them that I find even mildly entertaining, but a lot of people seem to dig them so I'm sure they're a good choice for the fest.

Eh. I gave a few more their songs a listen and at least one of the guys has some decent flow. The songs that are structured like hip hop arent all that bad, no lyrical master pieces but still decent ear candy. But the first few on their myspace are what lead me to my initial judgement, one along these lines:
