In and outs don't really matter too too much to me, except for two years ago when it was necessary.
It started out super hot in the morning so me and my sister dressed accordingly and brought sweaters because, well, it's the gorge. Somewhere around 4 the heat disappeared and the wind started up (this was the day when they had to shut down the main stage) Even with our sweaters and the both of us cuddled up in the blanket we brought it was waaay too cold to enjoy anything. We went back and forth to the main gate trying to get someone to let us go back to the campground to get some warmer clothes and eventually they did let us but it was a huge hassle. Really that's the only time I would want to do that walk twice in one day, but we were actually just considering leaving and not coming back that day because it was so bad.

Oh yeah, that night was COLD. I remember walking from the Wookie stage area to the main stage to catch Spoon, dressed in my typical shorts and sandals (I never learn). Right when we got over the hill, we were hit with a giant blast of bone chilling wind. It was that moment I decided I don't like Spoon.
Welcome to the board mxgw.

i see there are no ins and outs does mean you cant go back to your campsite and come back? ive never been to squatch before but coachella lets you go to your campsite whenever. probably a stupid question. i think they must mean like you cant leave the whole sasquatch AREA camping included because if not thats dumb

Coachella hasn't always had re-entry, fyi. And from what we have gathered, there will not be any back and forth between regular camping and the festival, the same as in past years.

It is seemingly a logistical issue. They have to hire more Jive Nation flunkies to watch the campground and watch all the people who go back to camp and get shitfaced. Apparently you can have re-entry as part of a VIP package. They ended up doing re-entry for about half a day last year, you payed them like $10 and they give you something to come back. A wristband? I am not sure. Anyway that did not seem to work very well as they put the kibosh on that almost immediately. The moral of the story is, there is no re-entry so pack snacks and layers.

Maybe they could hire competent people to work the campground. Just sayin.

Awwww, you couldn't have known. It seemed like a safe assumption to make, but it seems like sasquatch assumptions have consistently made an ass out of you and me. And everybody.

I heard a rumour that Coachella was using RFID tagged wrist bands this year, although I have no idea if they're going to use that for the purposes of limiting re-entry or not. Probably more so it's harder to duplicate the wrist bands they issues. Sasquatch might be doing the same or doing bar-coded ones. I'm fully expecting one or the other. Either way, no re-entry will be easy enough to enforce. Much as I dislike it.

Interesting. One of my coworkers is friends with someone who worked on Coachella's ticketing / tracking software (yes, I'm a software nerd myself). He's the one who told me, and I didn't doubt him, I just never bothered to look it up (since I'm not going to Coachella).

Coachella sounds like some kind of terrifying fucking police state this year. I wouldn't go near that place, I have a feeling bad shit is going to happen.
