Is there a possibility wit the fact that camping being in the early bird ticket that every person will have to buy a camping pass? I really hope not.

They definitely need to clear up the confusion with the new camping situation.

In terms of early bird tickets, it does appear that the only option will be the $285-$295 all inclusive tickets.

Probably means that if you want to stay at Wildhorse, then you're paying double camping. That sorta sucks.

If you compare this year's all-inclusive weekend package to last years festival-only weekend package, each person is only being charged an additional $10 per day. Yes, it kind of sucks for people who have plans to camp elsewhere, but The Gorge, Livenation, and Sasquatch aren't interested in making other campgrounds and hotels money. Plus, if about $10 a day extra is such an over-the-top expense for you then you really can't afford this festival anyway.

On that note, if you plan on camping at the Gorge anyway, then you are only being charged $1.25 extra per ticket. SIGN ME UP!

Thing is, it's PER PERSON. That pisses me off in a way. I plan on waiting for Feb. to buy my tickets to see if it changes.

Thing is, it's PER PERSON. Most other major festivals charge per person, it's just the fact that Sasquatch never has before that makes it seem so shocking. As many people have already, if you do the math it really ends up being nearly the same price per day for the festival+camping as last year. From what I've read it really seems like they aren't going to offer "festival only" passes, but feel free to wait it out. And yeah, I know that Friday isn't going to be a full line-up so maybe it shouldn't cost as much, but it's still going to have wicked bands and be well worth the price. They did the same thing in '06. If you have a problem with that, just wait and buy individual tickets for Sat-Mon. You'll only save a few bucks though. And you won't get a sweet festie wristband! My only problem with this change to individual camping passes is that it no longer promotes carpooling, which for a festival that claims to be "carbon neutral" is a little bogus.

People shouldn't have to be told that carpooling out into the middle of nowhere is a good idea.

The other thing is, if you're planning to camp there anyway, why wait to buy? They aren't going to start selling individual camping passes and then release some by-car ones later.

what the fuck is terrace camping?? Terrace is the Premiere of Premiere, it sits at the back edge of Premiere closest to the festival, has tables and a bit better scenery. Plus it comes with that feeling of exclusivity.... which is nice, to some I 'spose.

"The Terraces are the newest and most exclusive addition to the Gorge Campground. Situated between Premier camping and the Gorge Amphitheatre, this area is the quietest of the camping areas. Lush grass fronts a gravel parking bay with breathtaking views across the Gorge. There are a restricted number of these roomy sites available so be sure to reserve your spot now. Here you will get the largest space, free shower & restroom facilities separate from the general camping area, a free van service to the Amphitheatre that drops you right at the gate. 24 hour security, a dedicated concierge service, free fresh coffee and pastries in the morning to enjoy as you wake up to the best views in the campground (in our opinion). You will still have access to all the fun and facilities of the main campground. It'll be a quick and easy out from here once your stay is over and we'll hope to see you back again for the next amazing Gorge concert." From the camping website www.gorgecamping.com/

Woooooowwwwwww that is some heinous fucking Marketing Speak. I am going to spend half the weekend throwing ziploc bags full of urine at those people. "Most exclusive addition?" Get the fuck outta here, Gorge; it's a music festival, not a fucking central American resort.
