I don't think it's a nail in the coffin at all. The last date listed there is May 6th. It is not a stretch to think that with a few rehearsals Soundgarden could play Sasquatch at the end of the month. It's not that they couldn't do it but I don't think Cornell would be doing this tour and playing seattle so close to the festival if they planned on playing any soundgarden shows in the near future 2 completely different shows though. Cornell is doing a solo acoustic tour with songs from his entire career. Soundgarden is doing Soundgarden. While there would be a few songs played both times, I don't think anybody would say "nah, I'm not going to Sasquatch to see Soundgarden, I just saw Chris Cornell 2 months ago in Seattle"

not my point. I'm not saying he couldn't do it just because of the radius clause, I'm saying he wouldn't do it because they're two completely different shows and it'd be a weird transition

you're assuming there very few Soundgarden/Chris Cornell fans in the PNW if you think that him playing a solo show would have any kind of impact on the draw of a Soundgarden show.
He could play a solo show the night before a Soundgarden show and it would have no effect on sales.
If you're talking about him not wanting to play in the same area twice in a short period of time, give your head a shake. Money talks.

That's not the point. Touring is a rigorous and exhausting thing. Dude's not going to do a month-long tour and then immediately turn around and be like, Welp! Guess it's time to get ready for that big Soundgarden reunion everyone's been dying for for ten years! Gee, I hope a month is enough time...
Not how it works.

This makes sense, if it's the start of a tour. If it's a one-off show, then I maintain there is absolutely no reason to believe it won't happen.

Ok, well if Soundgarden reunites for just one show, it's NOT going to be at Sasquatch.

Honestly, I don't want to see the 2011 version of Soundgarden. As far as I'm concerned I'm happy to know they won't be taking up a headliner slot, leaves it open to more speculation!

Yeah for real though, Soundgarden had ONE good record and a couple ok ones. Spend the money on someone more fun.

Sorry that Katy Perry comment was stupid. My bad, Friendly. Hey no prob. It was more or less a good vehicle for me to post a picture of me with the DBT's.

This probably means Sigur Ros is out as well Which means I need a new wildcard headliner
