I lurked for about a week before jumping in. I've faltered a couple of times here and there, but found that as long as you're not a complete dickhead or dolt you find acceptance.

Funny thing is, I remember the lurkers first post well. HG speculated she was some sort of IRL girlfriend of mine, which lead to the most classic fail quote in the history of the board, Gramma's "insufferable" line. Classic.
