Ok, I'll admit it. I didn't take Pee Trick for... the kind of guy that I'm seeing in that picture there.
In person, I really do look like a very old woman with a long, curled horn protruding from her forehead. The real question I've been dying to ask is: Gunther ---> Know?

I gotta say, portrait tats make me nervous. That looks good on you, though. Where was it done?

Ah, thanks! I got it done here in San Diego, at a shop called Two Roses. They are amazing, they (and my tattoo actually!) were featured in Tattoo Magazine a couple months back.

Out of curiosity, is there a reason you went for an image of young John?
Proof that the Beatles were probably aliens is that at five year intervals throughout his life, John looked like a completely different human being. Shea Stadium John, Sgt. Pepper John, White Album John, Give Peace a Chance John... It's like he was constantly mutating. Personally, my mental image of John Lennon is from `67-`68 when he was doing his best work, but I can get behind preferring babyface John if he's going on your arm.

Let me tell you folks, don't ever get tattoo work done in the vicinity of your armpit. That shit bruised like you would not believe, and it hurt like fire for weeks.

I know what you’re saying. John went from the slicked back pompadour haircut in his Quarry Men days , to looking like Jesus, to being very 80s Danny Tanner style. And I love him in all of those stages. It’s not that I liked him more as a younger John, but I had 3 photos of him that I loved (one of them being from his Abbey Road days), and that one happened to be my favorite.
