I plan on spending... about $500 on this trip. Depressing but I'm sure I will not regret it.

I enjoyed it far more than every year I went to Bonnaroo. And for $500, I'm sure you can find a way to make it work. I spent around $950 for plane ticket, car rental, gas, festival ticket/camping, food, water, beer, hotel, and light camping equipment -- and I came in from Atlanta, GA.

If you can get to San Francisco you can do a share ride thing...and flights to SF from AZ is got to be cheaper than flying into Seattle or Spokane

Everyone I'm going with hates planes and it's irritating, but I found car rentals for $111 for 5 days. Really nice, so I think we are planning on going that route, it's going to be a hell of a drive..

Be wary of car rental. I learned the hard way there's a shitload of hidden fees this past year.
With Fox Rent-a-Car you pay an extra $10 per day if you're under 25 (which can definitely add up). Also, I don't know if you're picking the car up and dropping it off in the same place, but if you're dropping it a different place from where you pick it up, it can range from $20-$500. Also, insurance runs about $15 a day. (I didn't get it last year, and damned if I've never been so nervous driving in my life.)
You probably already know these things, but just in case.

That's why they have airport bars.

And airport bars are pretty awesome. Expensive, but cool.

I know! Though I can't really go to an airport bar, considering I'll only be 18 then haha, but, I wish we could fly, it'd be alot cheaper, but thankfully we are all splitting the bills so it shouldn't be to bad.

I actually enjoy flying for some reason. One of my favorite things ever is the window seat of a plane. However, otherwise, yeah, I guess it sucks.
And yeah, splitting everything helps out oh so much. (It sucks when you're going with one other person though and that person bails 2 weeks before.)

Ohh I would kill someone if that happened, but I actually have 3 other people going so we should be good. Doesn't really matter....because once you get to Sasquatch and experience it for yourself, everything will realign and all will be right with the world again! Trust us! You really cant ask for a better weekend than that!

That's pretty cool your putting this trip together before even seeing a lineup. You'll have a great time The Gorge is pretty much the promise land and Sasquatch is homecoming every year

I forgot about all these things during Pavement's set (which is funny, since this apparently sparked other people to ask themselves "Why am I here?")

Anyone who finds themselves asking a question like that at Sasquatch should probably just find the dirtiest port-o-pottie and stick their head in the toilet bowl.
