...This actually looks like it could happen. Would be awesome if Motorhead was there, even though I just saw them like a month ago.

Now why the fuck would the official Sasquatch Facebook page ask if we've heard the new Beastie Boys album yet? then someone mentions that 2 weeks ago, the album was debuted (I'm assuming partially) at a Knicks game at Madison Square Garden, with someone dressed up as Sasquatch dancing on the court to the music...

I'm pretty sure it was a gorilla suit that dancing dude was wearing.

I guess they like promoting bands that have performed in the past? Either way, it is a little odd. Being two weeks out, I can't imagine them adding a band that would trump any of the others headliners.

The album was streamed live from a ghetto blaster sitting center court at an empty MSG. A sasquatch was the one to start the ghetto blaster. I highly doubt they're playing Sasquatch. I don't know if MCA is cleared to tour yet, but I don't know why they would advertise the album on facebook. Have they done this in previous years?

Do people really think the Facebook page is at all affiliated with the festival? I have never been under that impression.

Settle down people.
Other posts from the Sasquatch! Facebook page in the last couple months:
It doesn't mean anything. And huge, huge acts like the Beastie Boys will never, ever be a last minute addition to any festival. And if they were they would absolutely not keep it a secret. Use yer heads.

Use yer heads. Mother fucking Prince was a last minute Coachella addition because they had no idea whether he could perform because of his hip operation. Then you got the whole cancer thing with the Beasties... Not saying that I think there is any chance what-so-ever that the Beasties are coming, but it has happened before.
