Long time reader, 1st time poster. I decided to make a little dream lineup. I organized it in lines of 3. The 1st band on each line would play day 1, 2nd one plays day 2, 3rd one plays day 3. I tried to keep the music somewhat consistent based on who I think would fit with who on each day.
My dream lineup for Sasquatch 2011 would include (just to name a few):
Foo Fighters - Arcade Fire - The White Stripes Soundgarden - Pixies - The Strokes The Black Keys - Allman Brothers Band - Death From Above 1979 The Roots - Mumford And Sons - Bright Eyes Broken Bells - Crystal Castles- Fleet Foxes The Kills - Empire Of The Sun - Cake Black Starr - Lupe Fiasco - Common Louis C.K. - Aziz Ansari - Zach Galifianakis

I know having a repeat is kind of boring, but I would LOVE to see Neon Indian (looks like they are rumored with sleigh bells). I unfortunately watched mgmt's horrible set last year and was only able to catch Neon Indian's last song. What a horrible decision on my part...

I love how people called's MGMT's set horrible. If you didn't like their new album, why did you bother watching them. It was very well known that was mostly what they played.
Luckily I like "Congratulations"

Luckily I like "Congratulations" I loved mgmt until that set. I enjoy their music still but they are "meh" live in my opinion

Smaller want, but I would love the Electric Six. If you've never seen them live, they're one of the best live bands around. Usually Dick Valentine gets really drunk and just has a blast. Last time I saw them instead of leaving the stage before the encore they stood in place pretending to be asleep. I think they would be entertaining for a festival.

Climbing to New Lows. The first album released by MGMT under the name The Management. Interesting fact switch... Does it sound anything like their other two albums?

I don't think Climbing to New Lows counts as an official album, name change or not. It's a demo, and a lot of those songs ended up on their early EPs as well.
And their set last year was awesome. I felt like such a tard when I kept on announcing to everyone around me that they weren't playing kids because they didn't want to be known as that band with that one song. I've never been so happy to be wrong.

I need to check that out. The first and only time I saw them, I loved them. They were opening for of Montreal Halloween '07 and I believe they played a lot of songs off that first album. So I definitely need to check that out.

I guess you can call it a demo, but I still consider it one of their albums regardless. Which is more attention than they give it because they never play any songs off of it in concert. For those of you asking about it you should check it out, there are some good songs on it: Hot Love Drama, We Care, Grutu. It is more electronic and stripped down than their 2 official albums.

Maybe MGMT is a little too "psychedelic" for your tight jeans..
