Ok so there are already a few posts already about wish-lists but they go off in tangents.. Yeah. There's, like, three other threads dedicated to this. You couldn't pick one of those? Those 'tangents' are discussions, by the way.

There's nothing wrong with a wishlist thread. The other threads are not wishlist specific, even if that is what they turned into. They were started more as possibilities.
Posting a list of 20 bands you want to see, which occasionally include dead people or bands who are no longer together, is frowned upon when people are discussing the newest rumor. It may not seem like it now, but this thread will ease a lot of conflicts three months from now.

Granted, I will attend (and be happy with) Sasquatch despite how much I love or don't care for the lineup, but some fairly reasonable wishlist must-haves would include:
Daft Punk Radiohead Arcade Fire Bassnectar Amusement Parks on Fire Built to Spill Chemical Brothers Chromeo Cut Copy Deer Tick Friendly Fires Ghostland Observatory Grand Archives Iron & Wine Mux Mool Of Montreal Skybox The Naked and Famous Skream Thao With The Get Down Stay Down Tunng Yeasayer Justice

Can't argue with those! I think Sigur Ros is just too much of a pipe-dream for Sasquatch, as much as I would LOVE to see them there. Maybe I've just convinced myself that I'm not worthy enough to ever see them live lol

I'd love to see Arcade Fire close out one of the nights, however they may be too expensive these days for Sasquatch. They also fall into the "could possibly sell out the Gorge by themselves" category which pretty much disqualifies them. Then again, they only drew about 7-8k in Seattle, but had 17k in Vancouver the night before. Tough call.

A lot of that list seems pretty likely, except LCD of course. Portishead and The Knife? That would be FUCKING AWESOME. And it would be cool to have both Avey and Panda. I guess they'll both be making the rounds that time next year.
Please no Guided By Voices, though. At the very least they'd gobble up a sub-headliner slot, and the sad truth is that the ratio of GBV songs I'd want to hear to boring, non-descript GBV songs is pretty unbalanced

Maybe I've just convinced myself that I'm not worthy enough to ever see them live lol Well as Jonsi seems to be on a solo kick, it likely is only a pie dream. But they do come in and out of the states periodically... Begrudgingly had to turn down a chance to see them in Omaha back in 2008 (I think... may have been 2007.) Alas we may just have to go out to Iceland to make it even a remote possibility.

LCD's tour is continuing into 2011, and so far they're not coming any nearer to the NW than Denver.
God I'd love to have them at Squatch again, I really would. Preferably in a sub-headlining slot, they definitely need more time.
