You guys are delusional. Just imagine ANY band that you don't feel socially obligated to shit heaps of praise upon like you do with Pavement playing the set that Pavement played at Sasquatch. Imagine someone you don't regard as an 'indie deity' throwing that fucking hissy fit and dicking around and being an asshole for ten minutes instead of playing music after the extreme high of LCD's set. You'd be PISSED. Like the people at Sunday Squatch last year who didn't have their heads way on up in dey asses. +1

I forget whether or not we've talked about the possibility of Godspeed You! Black Emperor playing at Sasquatch. Me and some friends are doing some orchestral arrangements of some of their music on Wedneday, and playing through these reminded me how damn amazing they must be live.

they're a rumor that won't die for Coachella so I guess it's possible they'll be at Sasquatch but I just don't see it happening. For a group with such unwavering morals the idea of them playing festivals (atp excepted) is kind of weird

For a group with such unwavering morals the idea of them playing festivals (atp excepted) is kind of weird If I took the time to think through this, I probably would've come to the same conclusion. Thanks for the reality check, C-bat.

For a group with such unwavering morals the idea of them playing festivals (atp excepted) is kind of weird I was about to say pretty much the same thing. Also its worth noting they are about to roll through the area in February with their tour ending at the beginning of May. I'd love to see them at Sasquatch but I would really doubt they'd ever attend (Coachella seems out of the question too). Luckily I'll be seeing them in February so I'm pretty stoked since it seems they and any other incarnation (Zion) seem to never want to play the West Coast.

hopefully all the festivals are not just going to recycle the same Headliners ( Arcade Fire and the Strokes)

hopefully all the festivals are not just going to recycle the same Headliners ( Arcade Fire and the Strokes) I'd be down with that. But I'm starting to feel like we're going to have a totally different set of headliners than any other fest, again, which is usually good, but this year means no AF or Strokes. I was blissed out watching that Strokes performance on Letterman from a few years ago last night, when they murdered "Take It or Leave It." I want.

I would loooove to have these three as headliners for Sasquatch. But I kinda doubt it mainly because two of them are headliners for Coachella and because Sasquatch tends to choose more obscure headliners. Maybe just Wilco?

So it now looks like the new Antlers album will be out sometime in May. These guys REALLY should be making a stop at Sasquatch this year.

Something tells me seeing/hearing Sylvia live would be a religious experience.
