Sick thing is, I think my girlfriend is even more in love with her than I am. Like, if Zooey offered to whisk her away, I think she'd leave me in a heartbeat. I think that makes both of our girlfriends... Mine has an (un)healthy obsession with celebrities... mostly movie stars.

You can say it, Gunther. That is in fact true of all women.

If you watch videos of She & Him at say Bonnaroo you can definitely tell that they were having a better time performing at Sasquatch. They just seemed livelier and more energetic in general...or maybe thats just the boobs talking. lol EDIT: Had to add this pic my wife took.

I'd known my wife for like six years or something and all of a sudden she knows, like, the name of all of Brangelina's children and exactly why Sean Penn and Robin Wright broke up.
It weirded me the fuck out. Not that it bothered me or bothers me now, but she had never expressed any interest in that sort of thing and then one day I realized that she's actually an encyclopedia of celebrity gossip. I don't like to generalize, especially about a group as insistently baffling and perennially fascinating as women, but that day I decided that if Steph isn't exempt from that sort of thing then really, no woman is.

The Rural Alberta Advantage.
I'm almost willing to put money on it. Almost. They've got a new album coming out March 1 and will undoubtedly tour the shit out of it.

Being from Edmonton makes listening to Edmonton so very special. Drove through Frank, AB on the way to Sasquatch last year. That shit is intense. Basically what I'm saying is I'll squeal like a little schoolgirl if they play Sasquatch this year.

Glasvegas has a new album coming out in the spring. I loved their debut album and enjoyed the hell out of their show in Seattle. Maybe a Sasquatch 2011 stop for them?

Nobody is going to sing any Nirvana songs, because nobody wants to bastardize the legend. Dave can be on drums, and Krist can be on bass, but as soon as someone steps to the mic, I'll start booing. Unless it's like...Frances Bean, or there is a video of Kurt singing, and they're playing along with it or something.
I just want no part of a 'Nirvana' where someone other than Kurt is singing. It's just not right at all.
That said, I want to see them perform Marigold.

I agree. I don't think I could watch them play for very long but a few songs would be cool. I don't want to see them pull a sublime.

it'd be kinda sweet if they played the song(s) with Pat Smear on guitar and the crowd sang, I guess. That I could probably handle. Nirvana really isn't a singalong band though...so I doubt that would work too well.

But what if Courtney Love comes out and lip synchs to the recordings and admits she killed him at the end?
