Janes and NIN both got $750,000 for both "headlining" on Saturday because they got equal time and were on their co-headlining tour. Plus it was NIN farewell tour of sorts. I found this out when I went to the last two NIN shows in LA.
I think that is supposed to mean that they made 750k combined which still seems obscenely high but is kind of reasonable
While thats what I thought was that they split the $750gs, I was quickly corrected into the idea that both got that much. They were able to do this by having KoL (who hadn't headlined anywhere at that point) and Ben Harper with his new band so both were cheaper headliners.

I swear, so many people around here act like they know the finances of booking festivals so well that I'm kind of concerned that you're all LiveNation stooges working undercover to identify all of the underage drinkers, drug users, troublemakers and other miscreants before the festival this year so they can pick us off at the gates.
I should think that if that were the case, they'd have their work cut out for them.
