Answer me the one simple question of how the porn industry is empowering to any woman? You will probably come to some startling self-realizations as you try to explain your "tricky" take it on.

I didn't say it is empowering to women. If objectification were polar opposites with no middle are your argument by negation would make sense. However, since there can be activities which are neither degrading nor empowering your argument is useless.
So, back on topic- what's the longest time anyone has spent making a costume- my Bender costume for shambhala was a good 10-15 hours, but I once made a chain mail bikini for an ex of mine that took just over 20 hours, which clearly took the cake for me- I now many others spend much more time.

Next time you feel yourself getting roped into an internet duel, come watch this clip and then ask yourself if you want to risk looking like any of these guys.
If you decide then that you must absolutely debate the fact that cranberry scones are infinitely better than blueberry muffins, try and use this thread rather than derailing some innocent user's important topic.
