I would totally see Kylie if there was a dance floor involved.

I would totally see Kylie if there was a dance floor involved. Kylie and Destiny's Child are enough reason to go to that show, seeing abbreviated sets that includes 1/3 of Buzz Ballads is just a bonus

Also, aside from Simple Plan being surprisingly really entertaining, the highlight was Avril Lavigne playing two songs and then yelling "fuck this" and storming off stage. I think she was having mic problems or something, but there were about 10,000 girls there JUST to see her, and they were pretty god damn pissed for the rest of the night haha.

pooping this relics to say that I will be seeing Smashmouth at the annual free Boise Music Fest which brought us Sugar Ray, MC Hammer, and Joan Jett last year and Backstreet Boys/Brett Michaels the year before. Fuck yeah? Dude, awesome. Smashmouth is awesome. Astrolounge is a great fucking record. TRUTH. Hold the fucking telephone here. Are we talking about Smash Mouth who paved the soundtrack to my youth with their classic albums Fush Yu Mang and Astrolounge? Or are we talking about some bullshit "indie rock" band from Nebraska called Smashmouth?

Basically, you are either about to have the time of your fucking life, or you are being conned big-time.

Astrolounge and So Much For The Afterglow were my first CDs. I got to see Everclear already at one of BSUs spring flings so seeing Smashmouth will be awesome.

Is this a joke? Rancid was one my my favorite bands in high school, but also the single most disappointing live band I've ever seen. And now they open for Blink-182. Sad.

Awww shit, looks like Smashmouth disbanded and subsequently formed Cursive. Smash Mouth it is.
I'm so fucking stoked for you, fig.
"Twenty-five years ago they spoke out and they broke out Of recession and oppression and together they toked And then they folked out with guitars around a bonfire Just singin' and clappin' man what the hell happened?"
This is going down at Sasquatch. Even if I have to wait until Monday night, I will let them kick me the fuck out for having a bonfire if it means we get to sing Smash Mouth together.

I loved me some Smash Mouth, honestly. Not as much as I loved Lit's "My Own Worst Enemy" or the Barenaked Ladies but hell yeah. I knew most of the great Smash Mouth songs. Jealous of you, fig.
