Mogwai are so good live, an un-fucking-believably LOUD!!! I would have loved to have seen them indoors with a decent light show.

6. Thursday- One of the best lineups for any show that I had seen at the time: The Number 12 Looks Like You, Thursday, and Minus the Bear. I was at this show, I remember it being all kinds of awful

No, I'm pretty sure they played "This Song Brought to You by a Falling Bomb" and I am therefore obligated to disagree.

Does this thread get everyone's dick sucked a lot? It's a pretty big "my dick is bigger than your dick" thread...but interesting nonetheless. I'm surprised that Nirvana hasn't shown up in someones list. Has no one here seen Nirvana? I never did and to this day I have not met one person that has seen them either. Strange.

1) Alanis Morrisette 2) Vanilla Ice 3) Yellowcard 4) Dredg 5) Third Eye Blind
Had to dig deep to remember some of those, but it reminded me about Dredg, and now I must listen to them.
oh, and as far as other people's lists go, I've seen Jay-Z, Circa Survive and Thursday.

Did you see the Alanis tour when Our Lady Peace opened for her? Awesome. I wasn't a big Alanis fan, but I was surprised at how decent her show was.

Haha, I was at the Vancouver stop of that tour. I think that was the same year that I saw Moist open for Neil Young.

That would be the one. Alanis/OLP/Frente. Good times.

Oh yeah, Frente! Forgot about them. That was a decent tour. Moist into Neil Young...nice! I love Moist and I love Neil Young.
OLP sure spent some time on the opening band circuit...I also saw them open for Van Hagar on the Balance Tour in Edmonton. OLP did a cover of "Dear Prudence"...just incredible.

alex gets a special award for "most potently douchechill-inducing" list. All of those were festival sets except Alanis. That was my first concert ever. From that list I'd only pay money to see Dredg again.
