Dude, don't be ashamed of Snow!
I bet you win with that list. What was the Beach Boys' lineup when you saw them? If John Stamos was drumming, I forfeit here and now.

i'll have to look into whether or not he toured with them at that point... but it was in 1989, right after Cocktail came out (and yes, they performed the horrific 'Cocomo' during that show). I was just a little kid, but I remember them playing right after an even worse set by AIR SUPPLY. Oy.

Ok, I can dig on some Aimee Mann, now I know who she is, "Voices Carry" is a pretty rad song.
I would have definitely caught Marilyn Manson, Snow, and the Beach Boys had a lived near a city growing up, but I've seen none.
I'm going to have to make a new list in a couple months after I see who everyone else has picked. Going first is obviously the worst spot.

With Max in '95, as they were debuting songs from their "new album", which was only mothufuckin' Roots! Ratamahata and Dusted was some of the heaviest shit ever to be played on this planet.

I have no problems losing this game, so here goes with my not so unique, but hopefully interesting, list:
1) Tripping Daisy 2) Sting 3) Martin Sexton 4) Jay Z 5) Ani Difranco 6) Sufjan Stevens
$20 goes to the winner. To be delivered at Sasquatch 2011

I saw Ani D (Up Up Up Up Up Up tour, 2000), and I saw Sufjan at Squatch. Plus I got, like, 4th row seats to see him at the Schnitz next Friday.

When are they gonna get some of these old tv broadcasts remastered, youtube is littered with so many complete shows from amazing concerts that were put on local TV stations. Funkadelic just released a tv broadcast from a Houston Halloween bash in '76 to dvd, it's fucking unreal!

I've seen Hammer, Connick, No Doubt and Damien Rice. Mine: 1. Oingo Boingo 2. The Residents 3. Better Than Ezra 4. Paul Simon 5. Jethro Tull 6. Aimee Mann Of the bands that people have put in their sixes already, I've seen No Doubt and Tonic. DJ Lance Rock Reel Big Fish Cracker Q-Tip Matisyahu Dark Star Orchestra Not gonna even try this game because every band I've seen either everyone else has seen or is way too obscure for this game. I don't know if anyone else has seen Frank Black (solo, not Pixies) and I feel seeing Jarvis Cocker solo was probably pretty rare too. And I have quoted the above because I've seen both Reel Big Fish (still love them to this day) and Jethro Tull (my first concert at the age of 7. My parents got us 3rd row seats. Pretty awesome, especially when you're 7 years old.)

Oh and Matisyahu (for reason that a friend of mine really wanted me to see 311 with her and Matisyahu opened up and I didn't have the heart to say "I really don't want to see 311" and I had no other excuse not to go.)
