I'll take some Silversun, maybe some more Yeah Yeah Yeahs... Built to Spill I wouldn't complain over... Explosions in The Sky would make me go VIP & I would say the odds are high for The Knife, Röyksopp (new album), Tool & ideally THE STROKES. I would say the odds are very low on all of these bands, except Built to Spill. I really like that odds are high for a band (the knife) who have played like 5 shows ever. That said i'd be ungodly ecstatic about it if they somehow got them. Strokes could be possible if they don't break up in the next 10 months and tool is always possible but I really wouldn't count on it. based on pattern they should have a new album coming out next year (they release on every 5 years and said they were working on it a while ago)

You already know the lineup, though. So glad this was the first response.

I would S some serious D to see Calvin Harris on the festival tour next year. He'd be perfect for a late show. Also Hot Chip in the dance tent, and maybe The Cool Kids. I'd also love to see Lissie, Chromeo, Phoenix, Mark Ronson, and both MGMT and Edward Sharpe for a 2nd go-around. Maybe throw in some rebellution or slightly stoopid too? or Animal Collective? & anyone ever heard of Seu Jorge?? I'm already counting down the days til Sasquatch 2011

I wouldn't expect to see Animal Collective back yet, but Panda Bear has a new release coming out soon. Wouldn't be surprised to see him on the bill. I'd also like to see Chromeo come back and play a set of their own jams instead of another DJ set.

metric should have been there this year, but they had been in seattle 3 times in the previous year so it would have kinda been too soon for another date. phoenix would have been a good addition as well. both of those bands will likely be heading back to the studio before the year is over and probably won't have festival dates next year. especially metric, they've been touring on their last record for well over a year now.
in my opinion animal collective is in the same category as pavement and mars volta, bands that should never be booked for sasquatch again.

Please, please no Phoenix. Over-produced Abercrombie & Fitch bullshit.
Animal Collective needs to play in the dark.

What happened with The Mars Volta? I've never seen them but I've always heard they're pretty insane live.

Damn dude. And I thought that *I* took it too far. Yeah, my friends always make fun of me about how badly I cross the line all the time. Point proven.

what a fucking mess. a cymbal AND stand...really? There's that, and the fact that they were downright unlistenable. We were sitting there on the hill during Mars Volta and we said, "Fuck it, let's go win Zunes from the XBox tent." ...so we did.

That video sums up the Mars Volta perfectly. They suck ass. I was at this show and had to secure a good spot for The Flaming Lips...unfortunately I HAD to endure the bullshit set the 'Volta played. It was the most atrociously bad performance I have EVER seen!!! Please never bring them back.

Much to his chagrin, he's most notable for playing David Bowie songs and singing them in Portugese on The Life Aquatic with Steve Zissou. Little do people know, but he has great original songs as well. Unfortunately, live, everybody just yells for David Bowie covers and ignores said great original songs.
