FEED ME probably would have been up there, but unfortunately the drugs I consumed were bunk and I was sober as a skunk after bon iver. For the first time, I had zero interest in catching a late night dance party. Had The Roots played Sunday night instead, I likely would have been able to see both.

I seriously regret missing St. Vincent to try to get closer for Jack White, and then leaving a few songs into The Roots' set because my friends had no interest in them. Next year if I'm able to go I'll stick to my game plan and break off from the group if I have to. I don't even want to know how long it'll be until I have an opportunity to see The Roots again. I was so high on so many things (mostly friends) during Jack White that I feel like we were right next to the stage, and we ran over there from St. Vincent. I also feel like he played 18 songs in ten minutes. It went by so fast.

That St. Vincent -> Jack White really was one of the best experiences I've ever had. What an amazing one-two punch!

It was incredible. I couldn't stop thinking about how those two should reproduce. Guitar babies.

I really regret seeing The Shins over St. Vincent. The Shins were kinda underwhelming, but I keep hearing all these good things about St. Vincent's set.

She was especially good at Sasquatch. She was great when I saw her in Oakland, but she was fucking transcendent at Sasquatch. Also, drugs.

Seriously? I am very impressed with anyone who can narrow that incredible experience down to 5 choice sets; I can barely keep it to 20. Off the top of my head: 1.The D/Beck (The motherfucking D with Beck!) 3.Cass McCombs 4.Little Dragon 5.St. Vincent 6.Feist 7.The War on Drugs 8.Kurt Vile 9.Bon Iver 10.Feed Pea 11.Tycho 12.Todd Barry 13.Purity Ring 14.Wild Flag 15.Zola Jesus 16.Explosions in the Sky 17.The Joy Formidable 18.Beirut 19.Tune-yards 20.Com Truise
Jack White ain't so hot.

I realized I haven't done this yet!
1. Beck 2. Explosions in the Sky 3. Jack White 4. St. Vincent 5. Cloud Cult 6. Tycho 7. Purity Ring 8. Apparat 9. Pretty Lights 10. Feed Me
Tenacious D and Feist would be on there if I had known more of the songs. I was half asleep for most of the Roots or that would be on there too.

Man, I just downloaded some Purity Ring tracks and I've got to say I'm equally sad for missing their set as I am thrilled to hear their debut album.

I was having so much fun at Wolfgang that I literally forgot to go to Jack White. Didn't even see a single song of his. Usually, this would bum me out but not in this case. Wolfgang was seriously one of the best shows of my life and I never once thought I would say that about an EDM show.

I wasn't even on high dro0gz and it was up there with one of my favorite EDM sets of all time.

I was fully wanting to stay for the entirety of Beck's set since I knew I'd miss something awesome at the end (I did), but my friends were nearly literally falling asleep after the Sea Change songs and they decided they wanted to bone out after Paper Tiger. I seriously regret missing St. Vincent to try to get closer for Jack White, and then leaving a few songs into The Roots' set because my friends had no interest in them. I swear 10% of your posts are about how you missed nearly every cool band at Sasquatch because your friends don't like them, or you had to take a shower. It was the same last year. Next time your friends want to leave a show, think to yourself, "wonk told me to grow a pair." You're welcome. Here's to the new you.

Also I stayed until the very end of St. Vincent and had a rad spot for Jack White. I was even maybe five minutes late, but it took about ten minutes for Jack White to really get in gear and the last ten minutes of St. Vincent's set were basically the greatest thing that happened all weekend.

My only friend-induced regret of the weekend was missing Of Monsters and Men for Polica. They were fucking terrible and even HG liked the Monster band, so they MUST have put on a good show.

Yeah I was totally surprised by Of Monsters and Men. I was sitting there and all of a sudden I was like, I don't hate this.
